*Warning: spoilers ahead. If you haven't seen Fresh, look away now!*

A new dating thriller movie, Fresh on Hulu is enough to make you never want to meet another human being—let alone date one—ever again. If you’ve not yet seen it, let’s just say there’s a meat-cute, dates, sex, dancing, and oh yeah; cannibalism. While the genre may not be to everyone’s tastes (the puns just write themselves) fans are raving over it, as well as Sebastian Stan and Daisy Edgar-Jones’ performances in the new Hulu film.

To give you a brief overview with limited spoilers, Daisy’s character shows us the literal horrors of dating, after discovering her new love interest (Stan) is basically a modern-day Hannibal Lecter. The film begins like any rom-com, but swiftly takes a dark turn...

And fans have been posting on social media in droves about the movie, with many left horrified over the *ahem* more violent parts. Others were left captivated by performances from Normal People’s Daisy Edgar-Jones and Pam & Tommy star Sebastian Stan. So why not take a gander through all the very best reactions to Fresh...and watch it yourself, if you dare...

The best memes and reactions to Sebastian Stan and Daisy Edgar-Jones' Fresh

First of all, we’d like to take a minute for this very accurate and relatable Tweet: “Watching fresh and I'm loving the dirty bangs representation we’re getting from daisy Edgar-jones rn. it's so important to show real stories on screen.”

Now back to the performances. One fan wrote: “Fresh is probs my new favorite movie tbh”

But another viewer, who was slightly concerned by the horror side of the film wrote...

While this fan admitted that the film has put her off dating the 'nice-guy' now, tweeting:  "So, what I’ve learned from #FreshMovie is that if you meet a cute, single, funny & employed guy—he is into cannibalism. Yep. Sounds about right.”

Another viewer agreed, saying...

While another confessed that the film has put her off of men altogether...

One fan even joked that Fresh had helped her realize her self-worth...

And another film fan admitted they'd been left with many questions...

But much of the main discourse amongst Fresh fans is how blown away they were with the class of acting, one viewer tweeted:  "All I can say is WOW!! Sebastian Stan and @DaisyEdgarJones what a twisted movie. Well done!"

While another posted: "Watched FRESH on Hulu and gotta recommend to my fellow horror fans—it's a fun yet morose tale and Sebastian Stan + Daisy Edgar-Jones kill it with the performances. Recommend!”

Others have been applauding the film overall, as well as its director, Mimi Cave.

Quite the endorsements!

When does Fresh come to the UK?

Currently, Fresh is only available to view on Hulu in the US. It was released on March 4.

So for those in the UK and feeling very envious of these reactions, don’t worry—you won’t have to wait too long! The film is coming to Disney+ on March 18.

Hands up if you're excited/slightly nervous...?
