Who doesn't love The Ordinary? The brand is one of our favourites for bargain skincare and make-up, and we've just got word of its exciting new addition – The Ordinary Concealer.

It's hard to believe that the brand is less than five years old, having taken the beauty world by storm when it launched in 2016 by proving that effective skincare doesn't have to cost the earth. It's since amassed legions of die hard fans who swear by the sell-out products, from the best retinol serums to niacinamide.

But back to the exciting news you're here for – the brand is launching its first ever concealer later this month, and we can't wait. Simply called "Concealer", it will retail for just $5.80 (£4.90) a bottle. Sign. Us. Up!

The formula comes in a small squeezy tube with a thin nozzle applicator, is both high-spreadability and buildable, and can be applied using either a brush or your finger. Available in 36 different shades, 21 of those correspond to The Ordinary's existing Serum and Coverage Foundation shades, with names correlating to skin undertones – P for pink, R for red, Y for yellow, etc.

The brand has also confirmed that the foundation shade ranges will be expanding later in the year to align with the new concealer shades. Hurrah!

It's fairly safe to assume that these new concealers will sell out in the blink of an eye; ahead of the foundation launch back in 2017, the waiting list was some 75,000 strong – and that was when the brand was only a year old. Best to have your card details at the ready on launch day!

The Ordinary Concealer will be available to shop globally from January 19 on Deciem's website. Until then, you can shop the foundations below.
