Yet again the rumor mill has been swirling around Zendaya and her relationship with spidey co-star, Tom Holland, with Twitter besides itself with claims that Zendaya is pregnant. So... exactly where did these rumors come from?

Spoiler alert, Zendaya, who has made the list of TIME's Person of the year, is NOT pregnant. Sorry to be the one to break it to you, but as far as we can tell, there will not be any mini Zendayas or Toms running around anytime soon!

As we know social media isn’t exactly known for its accuracy or ability to circulate proven facts and news and rumors spread like wildfire on it.

Despite Tom and Zendaya being the definition of couple goals and making us swoon with every candid snap or Insta comment, there's been absolutely no baby hints of any kind from them—so just where did these rumors originate from?

Is Zendaya pregnant? This is why fans thought so

Well, it looks like we can track these rumors back to a prank trend, currently making the rounds on TikTok and Instagram.

The prank sees users post a video with a celeb reveal or breaking ‘news’ but if viewers watch until the very end, a picture of Kris Jenner will appear with the caption ‘you just got Krissed’—no doubt you will have fallen prey to this at least once during your daily TikTok scrolling.

It seems this is how the Zendaya pregnancy story went viral after a number of videos appeared featuring screenshots of her ‘Instagram’ showing a sonogram, with Tom Holland tagged on it—and another screenshot of an Insta story of someone having the sonogram done at a doctor’s office, with Zendaya being tagged in the caption.

If viewers watch to the end though, momager Kris pops up along with the words ‘Sike you’ve just been Krissed’ plus instructions to send it on to your friends to ‘Kris’ them too.

It makes sense why this rumor got so out of hand because if you’re a quick scroller, it’s very easy to miss the prank reveal. And if you fell for it and sent it to your group chat, chances are someone else will have fallen for it too—and so a viral rumor is born!

All it takes is one tweet sharing the news for the Twitterverse to ignite! Alas, the power of the world wide web.

Despite there being no truth behind these rumors, it did spark a bunch of very funny and relatable reactions that Twitter does so well…
