Sex/Life, a steamy new series on Netflix, has been trending since it hit the streamer on June 25th, Adam Demos' shower scene seems to account for an, ahem, large part of the show's popularity.

Episode three—exactly nineteen minutes and 50 seconds in—of the Netflix newbie has been making jaws drop all week long, and social media users are responding with pure giddiness to the X-rated moment.

What is Sex/Life about?

Before we reveal the laugh-out-loud reactions on social media, let's get you up to speed on the series, in case you've been too busy binging Too Hot To Handle.

Sex/Life follows Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi) who is feeling stuck in a rut with her suburban mom life and husband Cooper (Mike Vogel). But, when her ex Brad (Adam Demos) reemerges, things get intense...and quickly.

Brad's full-frontal shower scene has shocked viewers, and some have taken to TikTok, Twitter, etc, to post their reactions as they watch the now-infamous clip for the first time. Naturally, there are a lot of gasps and "oh my gods." Looks like Brad's not just piquing Billie's interest!

Social media responds to Adam Demos' shower scene

Just a casual stroll through TikTok will prove that we weren't making up that jaw-dropping thing when it comes to that Sex/Life shower scene.

All across social media, users have taken to filming themselves watching episode three of the show, specifically a moment nearly 20 minutes in when Australian actor Adam Demos shows a, shall we say, full-frontal commitment to his role.

We also noticed while rummaging through feeds that searching the hashtag #sexlife isn't a clickable option on TikTok so that most likely means there were a few questionable video snippets circulating across different accounts.

Adam Demos: prosthetic or the real deal?

Although Netflix's forthcoming Sexy Beasts dating show has garnered attention for donning contestants in animal-like prosthetics before their blind date, Sex/Love is also sparking questions over the use of prosthetics for this particular scene.

"People usually ask is it real or is it a prosthetic? And I can tell you what Adam Demos says about it, which is, a gentleman never tells," Stacy Rukeyser, the show's creator, told Collider. "So, we are leaving that up to the viewer's imagination." However, it has been confirmed that Demos did not have a stunt double film this particular scene.

In addition to social media-savvy millennials, even the actor's childhood pals are weighing in on the subject, according to The Daily Mail, suggesting that everything viewers see is the real deal. What a way to congratulate your pal on his new TV show, huh?

Although the actor is making headlines due to his nether regions rather than his performance, he knew what he was signing up for, according to his interview with Entertainment Weekly, even though that didn't make things any less awkward.

"That doesn't mean you can't have discussions about comfort level, which they allowed us to have—and with the intimacy coordinator, so it felt a lot safer," Demos revealed in the interview.

Although the show might've handled the mature content professionally, we can't necessarily say the same for the TikTok users who are currently watching Sex/Life!
