Hailey Bieber's style magic has struck again but this time, instead of her sun-kissed beauty look or Hailey's swimwear aesthetic—we're all obsessed with her nails. Meet the 'glazed donut nails' trend, that will leave your fingertips gleaming in sugary, opalescent goodness.

This manicure trend has been popping up all over TikTok and Instagram (we’re even guilting of pinning a few inspo pics to our Nails Pinterest board) and it's even become an internal part of the 'clean-girl aesthetic,' thanks to its elegant, chic and downright dreamy look. It also helps that it's super easy to recreate, once you know the steps involved.

So here's the full 4-11 on this trend, from where it all began to how to get Hailey's glazed donut nails yourself...

Hailey Bieber's Met Gala nails

This heavenly nail trend all began on a fateful day in May—more specifically, the Met Gala. This was when Hailey debuted her pearly nails for the first time, paired with a stunning cream silk dress, black tights and a feathered wrap. If there's a word that means more elegant than 'elegant', she was the embodiment of it and so were her nails.

Thankfully for all of us, her nail artist Zola Ganzorigt shared exactly what products were used to create the manicure, which has been living in our minds rent-free ever since.

Since the Met Gala, TikTok has been flooded with videos of fellow Hailey stans, copying the look, either at home or requesting it at their salon...

Hailey Bieber nails: what to ask for at the salon

The 'glazed donut manicure' is thankfully pretty simple, it's a mix of milky white nail polish, chrome dust and finished off with a clear top coat.

If you're headed to a professional to get the look, the first thing you'll want to request is almond-shaped gels or acrylics—depending on your nail preference, just make sure they're not too long and that they're rounded at the tips.

Then you want to select a soft white shade or cream—if your salon offers OPI polishes, the exact shade Hailey wears is Funny Bunny. This shade is then followed up with a wash of pearly chrome dust.

Hailey's exact chrome dust is OPI chrome effects in Tin Man Can, which is only available at professional outlets or salons—but you can of course find great alternatives. The look is then finished off by a top coat and voila!

OPI Nail Lacquer Pale To The Chief

RRP:  $10.79/ £14.30

For a more pinky shade, very similar to that of the viral 'clean girl manicure' look, this polish is perfect. It will give your nails a soft, petal pink hue and will look slightly more subtle than the white.

To recreate the look, you want to first apply a clear gel base coat, then follow up with OPI's white Funny Bunny shade and then a pearly chrome nail dust. As mentioned Hailey's exact chrome powder is not available to buy—but we've found you a great alternative.
