Is the new Batman on HBO Max? Another actor is stepping into Bruce Wayne's shoes, putting on his iconic mask and taking a ride in the Batmobile. If you're wondering how to get caught up with Gotham's latest era, allow us to fill you in.

Robert Pattinson has taken on the role of the masked vigilante in The Batman, and we're all curious where the former Edward Cullen stacks up to his predecessors. Since you've likely already seen Tom Holland and Zendaya in the Spider-Man reboot, it's time to shift your attention towards the next superhero. Here's how to watch.

Is the new 'Batman' on HBO Max?

The Batman was originally scheduled to premiere in 2021, but the action-flick didn't debut until early March 2022 due to COVID-related complications. It is currently in theaters in the US, UK and Australia.

Although we're witnessing restrictions fade and people are making their way back to indoor activities, some of us would rather catch the film from the comfort of our own couch—which is, fortunately, a possibility for die-hard DC fans.

If you're looking to stream The Batman and bring Gotham City right into your abode, the superhero hit will be available to watch on HBO Max. The basic subscription plan is $9.99 per month and the next step up—an ad-free experience—is $14.99 per month. Have a look at your options below.

Although you will be able to get the experience from home, you'll have to be patient.

The streaming service's day-and-date release plan with Warner Bros. requires that all 2022 films are released 45 days after their theatrical release. If you were hoping to compare notes with your buddies who already saw it, we're sorry to break the news!

Since The Batman premiered in theaters on Friday, March 4, we can expect the film to hit HBO Max sometime in May.

"When that light hits the sky, it's not just a call—it's a warning," our new Bruce Wayne says of the famous bat signal.

See what's happening in Gotham and get caught up with the ultimate cool-girl, Zoë Kravitz, who has taken on the role of a bisexual Catwoman, which has earned a major thumbs-up for fans. Her portrayal of the iconic character has even garnered Taylor Swift's stamp of approval.

Showing support for her best pals, Swift took to Instagram stories to profess her love for the new Catwoman.

"@zoeisabellakravitz IS THE CATWOMAN OF MY DREAMS. The Batman was PHENOMENAL!!!" she wrote alongside a photo of a film scene.

Are you excited to see where these actors take things next or are you partial to the Batmans of yesteryear? (We can all agree that The Dark Knight is the best Batman film, right? Let the floodgates open...) See you in Gotham!
