If you're sad about the end of the UK's Love Island 2022, we've got some good news: the American version is already in full swing—and it even features the dulcet narration of Iain Stirling to make you giggle along with all the romantic drama. But, with Laura Whitmore on a well-deserved break, who is the new Love Island USA host?

While actress and model Arielle Vandenberg was tasked with presenting the first three seasons of the dating show across the pond, there's a new face fronting the fourth series—Sarah Hyland.

The star landed the gig after the program moved channels from CBS to Peacock and appeared in the launch episode, where she introduced viewers to the swanky villa and guided the new islanders through their first coupling.

Viewers of the UK's Love Island season eight might have spotted Sarah at the grand final earlier this month, which saw Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu triumph. But who exactly is the actress and singer, what is her own connection to reality dating shows and what has she said about the new series? Here's everything we know...

'Love Island USA' host—who is Sarah Hyland?

While hosting Love Island USA is a big gig—and her first major presenting role—Sarah Hyland is no stranger to the spotlight. The 31-year-old famously played Haley Dunphy in the comedy TV series Modern Family from the age of 19. She has also starred in the films Greek Charming, Annie, The Wedding Year and My Fake Boyfriend.

Who is Sarah Hyland's fiancé?

Alongside her impressive acting career, the star is also very familiar with the reality dating format. Her fiancé is Wells Adams, who appeared on The Bachelor. In fact, after posting on social media about the contestant during his appearance on Bachelor in Paradise, the two then connected online in 2017 and soon discovered they were each other's type on paper. By 2019, they had got engaged and are soon to walk down the aisle. N'awww!

You can follow Sarah on Instagram @sarahhyland, where she has an impressive 9.5 million followers. The star—who was born with kidney dysplasia and has had to have two kidney transplants—is also the co-founder and creative director of the vitamin-infused, plant-based chocolate brand Sourse

So far, Love Island USA fans have been loving Sarah as the host. They and our islanders are only set to see her more, as the drama continues to heat up, though, for our sexy singles, her appearance in the villa usually spells a recoupling or dumping...

How to watch 'Love Island USA'?

The fourth season of the American version of Love Island launched on July 19th, 2022. New episodes air Tuesday to Sunday every night at 9pm ET on Peacock.

Ahead of the premiere, Sarah appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and admitted that the islanders are "very, very, very sexy human beings". She joked: "I could not stop staring. I thought HR was going to have an issue with me. Could not stop staring at the contestants."

If you're not stateside, then fear not. You can watch Love Island USA on Peacock if you're in the UK and Ireland via your usual Sky and NOW subscriptions.
