Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian and loyal reality TV fans everywhere have been through one hell of a romantic rollercoaster ride. The on-again-off-again couple has experienced a fair share of ups and downs over the years, from births and celebrations to heartache and scandals.

Somehow through it all, Scott Disick remains a constant not only in Kourtney's life but the entire Kardashians' lives. Though some are secretly hoping for their love story to be rekindled—disregarding the current Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker relationship timeline—we're going to take a look at how it all began.

Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian and Joe Francis in 2006

Kourtney and Scott's mutual friend and Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis is responsible for one of the most iconic relationships in reality TV history. The duo met at Francis' home in Mexico, though according to Elle Australia, Kourt wasn't terribly intrigued at first and found Scott to be annoying. That didn't last long—the two were linked shortly after.

2008

The romance was short-lived. Although the two seemed to be hitting it off in the debut season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2007, cheating accusations swirled after Kourt found text messages from another woman on Scott's phone. The romance had ended...temporarily.

2009

After crossing paths in Miami while filming Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, the two were back on once again, according to US Weekly. This is arguably one of the most important years in the two's lives, as they welcomed their first child together, a son named Mason.

2010

The two went their separate ways—again—this time because of Scott's wild ways. His partying was becoming too out of control for Kourtney, though they did reconcile shortly after.

2011

Although Kourtney might've rejected Scott's attempted proposal at the time, per US Weekly, she didn't reject the idea of expanding her family. She announced later in the year that she was pregnant with her and Scott's second child.

2012–2013

An incredibly exciting time—the birth of the couple's daughter Penelope—arrived in 2012. What was such a joyous event was sadly followed by grief, as Kourtney was left to help Scott as he mourned the loss of his parents, both of whom died in 2013 just a few months apart from each other.

2014

Kourtney was keen on growing her family for the third time, and the two welcomed a little boy named Reign in 2014.

2015 and beyond

Despite their growing family, Kourtney and Scott officially called in quits in 2015. Since then, Scott has been linked to Chloe Bartoli, Sofia Richie and currently, Amelia Hamlin.

Amelia's romance with Scott, who is 18 years her senior, has everyone talking...even her mother, Lisa Rinna. The soap star and member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills seems to have some reservations about her 20-year-old daughter dating someone much older than her. She's been quiet, but the August 26, 2021 episode of RHOBH changed it all.

In a confessional, Rinna discussed her and her husband Harry Hamlin's viewpoints about their daughter's relationships. Her youngest daughter Delilah is dating Love Island contestant Eyal Booker.

"Harry's made it quite clear that he would not object if Delilah and Eyal got married, which is pretty shocking, but that says a lot," Lisa said. "I can't say the same for Amelia at this point now."

In true Rinna fashion, she exclaimed: "Like, why can't it be Harry Styles? Why the f*** is it Scott Disick?" (For those who are out of the loop, Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde are the new It couple.)

Before her most current reveal, Rinna was also caught giving a wishy-washy answer to Andy Cohen about her daughter's love life. "Listen, I will say this. Amelia's very happy right now. And you really want your kids to be happy. So Harry and I are very thrilled that she is happy."

For her part, Kourtney sparked relationship rumors with Justin Bieber—though the two claim they've always been friends—dated Younes Bendjima and most recently went public with her PDA-filled, friends-to-lovers relationship with Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker.

How does Scott feel about Kourtney and Travis?

It looks like Scott might be changing his tune.

During the Keeping Up With the Kardashian reunion earlier this summer, he revealed to host Andy Cohen that he does in fact approve of Kourt's new romance with the Blink-182 drummer.

“I think if you really love somebody, right, you want them to be happy no matter what. So I do give her a blessing to be happy,” he said.

Allegedly things have taken a turn. Kourt and Travis decided to vacation together in Italy, and naturally, they've captured their steamiest getaway moments for the world on Instagram. That's amore...and then some.

Kourtney's ex, Younes Bendjima, posted a private direct message on his Instagram Stories allegedly from Scott shading Kourtney and Travis.

“Yo is this chick ok!????? Brooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy,” he said, referencing a steamy make-out photo, which he included in the message.

Younes replied, "Don’t matter to me as long as she’s happy. PS: i aint your bro.” He captioned the screenshot of the message with, "Keep the same energy you had about me publicly, privately.”

Then, to create even more of a stir, Younes followed up with another slide on Instagram Stories that read, "couldn't miss this one. He been playing around for too long, tired to stay quiet and be the nice guy."

Well, this is certainly not a good look for either party, but the two have seemingly been at odds for quite some time. During the KUWTK reunion, Scott did shade Kourt's ex pretty badly, as did the rest of the family.

When Andy suggested that Scott gets bent out of shape about Kourt's new flames, he replied, "Me? No. I just want to kill them. … Well, the last guy. Let’s all be honest here.”

Khloé backed up her buddy Scott and added, "Nobody was happy with the last one.”

This all begs the question: is this Instagram back-and-forth legit? What does Scott think of all this and when will he add his two cents? How will it affect Kourtney and Scott's dynamic now? Time will tell.

Although Scott has yet to comment on the reveal, it seems like Kourt has something to say, seemingly in reaction to the drama.

"John 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask anything you wish, and it will be done for you," she wrote on Twitter.
