Where do you know Tyler Stanaland’s wife Brittany Snow from? An update on the duo since 'Selling the OC' season 1

Here’s the lowdown on Tyler Stanaland's wife Brittany Snow—and what's happened between the two since the show's debut

Tyler Stanaland’s wife, Brittany Snow, was a popular topic when Selling the OC first premiered in 2022. Though she did not make a cameo in Netflix's real estate series alongside her hubby, fans hoped for a small glimpse into the actor's life by way of her other half.

Now, as we gear up for Selling the OC season 2, a lot has changed between the pair, who called it quits shortly after the series debut. Though they've remained relatively tight-lipped about their divorce, we wouldn't be surprised if Stanaland’s flirty behavior in the O Group office had something to do with the relationship's demise. (And we can't forget about his almost-kiss with Kayla Cardona...)

After a difficult experience, Snow appears to be trudging on with grace.

"I think everybody goes through really tough periods and then it's all in our perspective and how we deal with it, right?" she told People. "Because nobody's immune to tough periods in their life. And, all I'm trying to do is focus on myself and tune out the noise."

Here's where you've seen Brittany Snow before

Actress Brittany Snow is best known for her role as Chloe in the Pitch Perfect series. According to her chat with People, she said the cast "really did get to become close friends, if not family." She also landed roles in films like Hairspray, John Tucker Must Die and Someone Great, and the TV series, Almost Family. Most recently Brittany has gone the horror route alongside Virgin River's Martin Henderson in X, a slasher film set in Texas.

How long were Tyler Stanaland and Brittany Snow together?

The couple started dating in 2018 after Tyler embraced the art of modern-day dating and, you guessed it, slid into her DMs. They then got engaged in February 2019, with Tyler popping the big question in their kitchen, which is also where they shared their first kiss. They tied the knot in March 2020 in an intimate, outdoor ceremony in Malibu, California, just days before the world went into lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.

What has Tyler Stanaland said about co-star Kayla Cardona?

Anyone who has binge-watched the first season of Selling the OC might have a few questions in mind for Brittany's husband, particularly after he and his co-star and colleague, Kayla Cardona, were embroiled in drama over an almost-kiss moment.

Tyler has since spoken out about Kayla trying to kiss him—not once but twice, on the podcast Reality Life with Kate Casey. The real estate star detailed the awkward moment and said, "One night, Kayla did try and kiss me. And then it happened another night as well. So on the show, out of respect for her, I am just kind of trying to minimize it and brush past it so that there isn't drama. We can all focus on what we should be doing."

He clarified that "nothing happened," but said the moment was "something where I had to kind of set some hard lines and some boundaries and reconsider the social environment a bit. It was just…something that, you know, you don't do to somebody who is married."

In the season 2 trailer, we catch a glimpse of Stanaland scolding Cardona for talking about his personal matters. And allegedly, he took a liking to Polly Brindle at some point throughout the season. We'll have to wait for the new episodes to hit screens to see how it all unfolds, but we're fairly confident it's going to be heavy in the drama department.

Was Brittany Snow in 'Selling the OC'?

Tyler quashed hopes for a Brittany cameo, telling Entertainment Tonight in 2022 that she will not be making an appearance in the debut season.

He noted: "You will not see her on the show, but she's supportive. I have what makes the most sense in my career, and she has what makes the most sense in her career, and kind of whatever is best, we do, and we support, and I think that's what makes our relationship successful."

Time will tell how his split makes its way into the next chapter of the series.

Be sure to mark your calendars: Selling the OC season 2 is available to stream on Netflix beginning Friday, September 8. Expect gorgeous real estate, big drama, and yes, a $1 billion listing. (Yes, that's billion with a "b")!
