Is there trouble in paradise between buddies Scott Disick and Maluma? Some suspect that the bromance is no more, while others seem to think their unexpected social media spat is just for attention. We'll lay out all the facts, and you can judge for yourself.

Why are Scott Disick and Maluma fighting on Twitter?

So, what exactly is going on here? On July 6th, Lord Disick took to Twitter to ask: "Wtf with this guy @maluma?" Judging from the use of the emoji, it seemed lighthearted enough, right? Just two buddies giving each other a hard time—or so it seemed.

Then, the Colombian artist decided to follow up: "What’s up with you? You want to be me so bad that you try to take what is mine?"

Well, those certainly seem like fightin' words.

Oddly enough, Disick decided to retweet the exchange between him and his friend (or ex-friend), which has left plenty of spectators suspicious. Some think it was just a joke while others seem to believe all signs point to a collaboration.

"Obviously making something up because they party together! why would Scott post a dumb tweet like that? And Maluma reply," one user wrote.

Another added: "They want to sell you something ... and they know how to do it!"

Scott Disick and Maluma fight: is it real or PR?

Turns out, it's all fun and games for the two, so no need to dive into the Twitter abyss. According to The Algemeiner, a new music video from Maluma is underway.

Model Eden Fines shelled out the details during the Israeli TV show "Good Evening with Guy Pines," where she noted that she flew to Miami to be in a music video about a love triangle between the singer and Disick.

Maluma further noted on Twitter—after the dispute—to tune in at 6pm on July 8 on YouTube, where this music video will be. Those who were getting upset about the back and forth can rest assured that it's all in the name of creativity. Plus, now there is a new song for fans to look forward to.

Scott Disick, for his part, is no stranger to love woes. He and Kourtney Kardashian, though seemingly acing co-parenting, have never quite been able to get their on-again-off-again relationship back on solid footing. During the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reunion, Kourtney noted a major factor that caused their romance to die.

"Do you think your relationship might have turned out differently if you hadn't shared so much of it?" host Andy Cohen asked the Kardashian.

"Probably, but I think the substance abuse was the deal-breaker," she said in reference to Scott's issues with drinking. Disick, without hesitation, agreed.

It seems as though the two are happy in their different relationships. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have been hot and heavy for several months—some even suspect a proposal is in the works. Meanwhile, Disick has been linked to 20-year-old Amelia Hamlin, which has garnered headlines for their 18-year age gap.
