Fans can’t get over this resurfaced clip of Angus Cloud’s job pre-Euphoria
This viral TikTok video shows Angus Cloud's job—his very relatable job—before he got his big break in Euphoria
If you, like everyone else who watched Euphoria season 2, have fallen totally in love with Fezco (did Fezco die in Euphoria?) aka Angus Cloud—and his adorable friendship with Lexi (‘Fexi’ if you will)—you may may be wondering what his life was like pre-Euphoria, and his spectacular rise to fame.
For example, what was Angus Cloud's job before his first major acting role? Well, this resurfaced TikTok clip tells us just that.
The viral clip, which is currently making the rounds on social media, reveals the very inspiring story of Angus’s very relatable beginnings before finding fame.
Angus Cloud's job: what did Angus Cloud do before Euphoria?
User @just.darleen posted a four-year-old video of Angus Cloud waiting on her table, while she was at an event in Brooklyn. The video sees Cloud picking up plates from the table, as the person filming the video tries to capture her friends dancing nearby him.
She wrote over the video, which saw him clearing away plates with: “Wow, 4 years ago Fez was my waiter at my birthday brunch in Brooklyn.”

She then captioned the post with, “This is amazing @Angus Cloud fast forward now you’re a star on Euphoria.”
It's a pretty incredible thought that just four years prior, the star was working at a restaurant, and he now has over 7.5 million followers on Instagram and a starring role on a viral HBO show!

Fans very understandably went wild for the video. One TikToker commented: “started from the bottom now he's here.”
Another wrote: “4 years later he is a sensation.” with a third adding: “what a come up.”
Others found the whole thing very relatable, with some noting his expression—joking that this was the moment that he decided to make a career change…
One said: “This is the day he decided he would rather be an actor lmao.” Another remarked: “He is just trying to finish his shift lmao 😭.”
Angus has revealed that pre-stardom, he worked at a “chicken and waffle joint” (potentially the same restaurant featured in the clip) whilst living in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
His first acting gig was in fact Euphoria, after he was scouted in 2018 walking down the street in Manhattan, having moved to NYC spontaneously. He told GQ he was approached by a representative and said: “I was confused and I didn’t want to give her my phone number. I thought it was a scam.” Can you imagine if he hadn't?!
He then ended up in a room with lots of ‘serious people’ reading lines, and before he knew it, was on a plane headed for LA.
Keep following your dreams, folks!
