It's a well known fact that Cardi B likes to make a statement with her sartorial choices and is famous for her epic beauty looks and hairstyles. Case in point: her latest 'do could be straight out of Bridgerton Season 2 and we're living for it.

The half-up style was created by the rapper's go-to hairstylist Mia Jackson, aka Tokyo Stylez, who has also worked with the Kardashians, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Naomi Campbell and Megan Thee Stallion.

Adding to the Bridgerton vibes even further, Cardi wore a vintage couture gown by Mugler. "This is a honor for a person that loves fashion! You our family at this point and that’s FINAL!" she wrote.

In the accompanying interview for, err, Interview magazine, the rapper told Mariah Carey how she'd been maintaining her signature glam during the pandemic. (Side note, she was completely freaking out at meeting Mariah, as any of us would be!)

"Due to COVID, no lie, my team gets tested at least three or four times a week, no matter what we do," she explained. "We always come up with things together. Let’s say I want to wear a shirt: I’ll send the shirt to my stylist and he will put an outfit together.

"Then I’ll hit up my hairstylist and we’ll decide what hairstyle goes with the fashion, because we don’t always have the same ideas," she continued. "I was rehearsing for a music video and I had to be around dancers, and we were getting tested practically every single day. It’s so expensive on the budget."

Who knows, maybe we'll see Cardi B make a cameo appearance in the next season of Bridgerton. Are you as big a fan of this look as we are?
