Dan Levy's Golden Globes 2021 look cements his status as a fashion king

That monochrome though!

There are plenty of famous fellas whose closets we would raid in a second—Gucci god Harry Styles, glamazon Billy Porter, and Schitt's Creek star Dan Levy among them. The latter, in particular, proved his style icon status during the virtual red carpet of the 78th annual Golden Globes tonight, where he absolutely turned it out in Valentino SS21 couture.

The multihypenate talent—who wrote, directed, produced and starred in the hit Pop sitcom, which wrapped up its sixth and final season last year—was impeccably styled by Erica Cloud in a monochromatic, citron Valentino suit, complemented with a matching sequined top and metallic creeper shoes.

To finish off the look, Levy sported Cartier jewelry and glasses from his very own DL Eyewear collection. Altogether, it's the kind of high-fashion moment we've come to expect from the David Rose actor.

Twitter users were clearly fans of the color-coordinated look, with one fan tweeting: "no bc dan levy actually has no right to look this good." Another wrote: "Schitt’s Creek turned into my wife and I’s favorite show of 2020. So, anyone who agrees should also agree this @danjlevy #GoldenGlobes shot belongs in a museum."

Even the Golden Globes official account joined in on the praise, posting: "We think that @danjlevy's #GoldenGlobes look tonight deserves to be celebrated. Seriously, we can't wait for this Schitt to hit the fans." Ditto!

Levy's fashion prowess is no surprise—aside from regularly pulling primo looks on red carpets (we're still thinking about that skirted Thom Browne suit from the Emmys 2020) and in photoshoots (like that recent Vanity Fair cover), he was heavily involved with the fashion department of Schitt's Creek and in styling the show's iconic, fashion-loving characters like Moira and Alexis Rose.

One of the most high-profile Golden Globes 2021 nominees, Dan Levy and the Schitt's Creek crew lead the TV pack with five nominations, including for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy and for the Big Four acting categories, with Levy himself recognized on the Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Supporting Role ballot. To paraphrase David Rose, we feel like that needs to be celebrated!
