JLo and Ben Affleck just made it Instagram official—and our hearts can't take it

Nothing gives us 2000’s nostalgia quite like ‘Bennifer.’ They were THE-couple of the noughties and after months of speculation and being spotted together people were asking 'are JLO and Ben Affleck dating?', it seems as if we finally have the answer. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have just officially confirmed they are back together on Instagram and we can now all believe in love again. 

The couple first sparked romance rumors all the way back in April, following JLo’s split from fiance Alex Rodriguez. Jlo and Arod split after a two-year engagement, announcing they felt they were ‘better as friends.’ 

At first, sources claimed JLo and Ben were just friends but after they were spotted vacationing together in May, we have since been treated to several pictures of them embracing and even kissing—but now we know for sure. 

JLo took to Instagram to mark her 52nd birthday with a series of four pictures from her holiday in St Tropez.

Three were gorgeous bikini selfies, and the last picture saw her and Ben kissing. The post, which she captioned, ‘5 2 … what it do …💗’, has received over seven million likes and the comments were full of Bennifer stans.

One wrote: “It’s the last pic for me.”

“BENNIFER FOREVER!” said another.

And a third wrote: “Bennifer is back in full force!!!!😍😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥”

And another summed up our excitement very well by simply writing in all caps “I’M SCREAMING.’”

The iconic couple first started dating back in 2002, after starring in the film, Gigi together. They got engaged in the same year, with Ben giving JLo that famous pink engagement ring. They sadly split in 2004, but now they are finally back on and we’re so obsessed.

It’s not just us who were praying for a Bennifer reunion, even Ben’s best friend Matt Damon said on the Today Show back in May:  “I love them both. I hope it's true. That would be awesome.”
