If you've already binge-watched all of Emily In Paris season three (um, same), you've no doubt entered 2023 with a newfound love for a bold red lip as it's one of the Emily In Paris lipstick trademarks throughout the show! And luckily for us, Lily Collins aka Emily *cue Sylvie's voice* has just let split her favorite lipstick for the ultimate French-girl vibe!

When it comes to beauty and makeup in particular, we tend to let our favorite celebrities guide us—whether that's Hailey Bieber with her viral nails and ‘glazed’ foundation look or the likes of Emily In Paris star Lily, who not only recently jumped on the fringe hairstyle trend but also revealed her secret weapon behind the ultimate matte red lip.

And while we're all also on the hunt for swaps of all of Sylvie's fashion moments, there is one thing we don't have to wait on adding to our shopping cart—the exact red lipstick Lily wears on and off-screen!

Yes, Lily revealed the exact brand and shade she wears in a new What’s In My Bag video for Vogue, and of course, it's the Mademoiselle Lily shade from the Emily In Paris Lancôme collection.

This lipstick couldn't be any more perfect for anyone who is either Paris-obsessed or a major Emily In Paris fan—because not only is it made by one of the most iconic French beauty brands ever (and as part of an official collab with the hit Netflix series) it’s also the most perfect cool-toned red shade. Très chic, as Emily would say.

RRP: $32 /£28.50

This matte lipstick is available in a huge range of shades, from soft nudes to bold burgundies. Lily's go-to shade is ‘Mademoiselle Lily’, which is pretty obvious since it’s literally named after her! Oh, the envy we feel right now.

And did we also mention that it’s refillable and currently on sale in the UK at Debenhams?

Elaborating on her love for this shade, Lily said it’s one of her all-time favorites, adding: “It is a hue named after me and I’m a real lover of lip balm, but if I do a lip, I do a red lip and this is the perfect, most ideal matte lip color for my skin tone—and it stays on all day.” Now that’s the sort of endorsement we trust!

If you have a similar complexion to Lily’s, this is a great option for you. If you’re new to bold lipsticks, be sure to exfoliate your lips before applying a matte lip shade, and have a concealer at hand to fix any smudging or mistakes—it happens to the best of us!

Emily In Paris' very own lead makeup artist has also discussed Emily's trademark lip and even shared some expertise for tackling a red lip...

In an interview with Byrdie, Aurélie Payen touched on Emily's makeup evolution from more neutral lips to her fully embracing a bold, red lip in season 3—which is very synonymous with French-girl makeup. Payen said: "We're really playing with bold red lips, orange lips, pink lips—lips that we have never seen on her before."

Before then sharing the importance of lip prep, saying: "For me, the most important thing is to work on the lips first. So maybe do a scrub if you have time." The perfect Emily Cooper-approved lip look here we come!
