We love a good breakup battle cry, but this Olivia Rodrigo pink hairdo in her "Traitor" music video might outshine the song itself. (No offense to her new single, of course.)
We're calling it now: her new 'do is bound to be one of the most searched celebrity hairstyles TikTok, Instagram and Twitter have encountered. It seems the singer's fanbase is already thinking pink themselves...

Olivia Rodrigo pink hair transformation in 'Traitor'
Take it all in, ladies and gents. The 18-year-old pop sensation—who earned the title of Spotify's Song of the Summer with a cool, casual 600 million plays of "good 4 u"—has debuted another angsty, emotional love-gone-wrong track.
We are totally into the song, but what we really can't get over are her long, tousled waves with light-pink highlights at the tips. Not only does it look adorable, but it totally fits in with the music video's aesthetic—a win-win.
Copycat looks are coming in 10...9...8...
The internet reacts to Olivia Rodrigo's pink hair
As you'd expect, Gen Z is in love and begging the star to make this look a permanent one. Is it possible that the style is also a nod to Rodgrio's music icon, Miss Taylor Swift, who's also donned pink strands?

Thinking of channeling those "Traitor" vibes? We've got you covered. Just make sure to familiarize yourself with the best expert tips for dyeing your hair at home before you attempt this new style, whether you intend to keep it for the interim or long-term.
"Do a deep conditioner before [dyeing] to help even out the porosity and make sure you have a clarifying shampoo on hand for when you have to wash it out," says Kristina Dimoplon, a stylist at Live By the Sword Salon (opens in new tab) in Brooklyn, New York.
Dimoplon also notes that those with bleach blonde hair should be extra cautious before attempting a new color and those with processed and dry hair might risk getting stains on their locks. Always ask a stylist if you're uncertain about highlights!
