Celebrity romance alert! Pete Davidson is reportedly dating Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor, aka the Duchess of Hastings. The pair were first rumored to be dating last month after they were spotted hanging out in Phoebe's hometown in the UK.

The couple is said to be taking things slow for now (understandable) as they deal with the sizeable distance between the US and the UK.

"Pete and Phoebe are still going strong despite not being able to physically spend time together," a source has told Us Weekly. "Right now, they're just focused on work. They're not looking to rush things."

The news comes just a few weeks after a fairly unusual incident involving the Saturday Night Live star, in which a fake press release purported to announce Pete Davidson is married.

The source added that the couple is "trying to make long-distance work" and, like many of us, keep in touch by FaceTiming and texting. Davidson is reportedly also trying to arrange a visit for Dynevor's birthday, which is later this month.

"They’re happy with each other," they added. "He makes her laugh. Pete is a good guy and definitely a charmer. He’s easy-going and fun to be around."

Fans are nervously waiting to find out if Dynevor will return for Bridgerton Season 2 after her co-star and on-screen husband Regé Jean-Page announced that he won't be back for the period drama's second season.

What's more, the show is getting a new leading lady for Season 2, who is set to be the love interest of Anthony Bridgerton. Kate, who will be played by Simone Ashley, is described as a "smart, headstrong woman who suffers no fools – Anthony Bridgerton very much included".

We're already excited!
