TikTok never lets us down, whether it’s telling us all the viral products we need to buy or providing us with time-saving beauty hacks—like the blush hack and setting spray hack—our makeup and hair have never looked so good. And now it’s come to the rescue again with this incredible ponytail hack...

If you’re someone with thin hair who shies away from a ponytail—or someone who just never bothers with the look because you can never make your pony look quite right—prepare to have your life changed.

Hair Stylist Chris Appleton has brought the goods to TikTok and revealed a seriously simple hack for a fuller ponytail.

First thing's first, you need two hair ties. Then you want to section your hair into two as if you’re going to do a half-up half-down look. Tie the top section into a small high ponytail. This will work best for those with mid to long hair.

Now comes the ingenious part—take the under section and split that into two. Then bring the two pieces up, on either side top ponytail and tie them together above into a second pony. This will make your ponytail look double the size, fuller and ‘more glam'—and who doesn’t want that?

Appleton has also shared a similarly clever hack for how to achieve a fuller bun—with just the help of a scrunchie!

This is perfect for anyone with fine hair that wants to make there messy bun look triple the fitness in a few mins 🌪

If you have quite fine hair, you will relate to the pain of having a teeny tiny bun. But this hack gives you a bigger bun without the need for backcombing or copious amounts of hairspray.

All you have to do is tie your hair into a high ponytail with a scrunchie—and then fold your hair over it to cover the scrunchie.

Then simply wrap the ends of your hair around and secure! It’s the same idea as using a bun doughnut, but ideal if you already have some scrunchies lying around! Plus we love a hack that uses everyday accessories!
