The Academy Awards faced many changes this year, but the Oscars gift bag lives on

This year, the Oscars won't look quite the same, but the Oscars gift bag is, happily, as glitzy as ever.

As we prepare to watch which Oscar-nominated movies win big on Sunday and which of Hollywood's hottest stars take to the red carpet (you know we're going to be judging those iconic Oscars gown looks), the Academy Awards has revealed what the nominees will be receiving in this year's swag bag in anticipation of the big night.

The entertainment marketing firm Distinctive Assets is at it again with another luxurious bag full of goodies for the noteworthy stars in attendance. So who will be receiving it? All 25 acting and directing nominees: Olivia Coleman, Amanda Seyfried, Anthony Hopkins, Carey Mulligan, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Leslie Odom Jr. are just some of the notable stars who will be receiving the Oscars gift bag.

What's inside the 2021 Oscars gift bag?

Those lucky to receive the "Everyone Wins Nominee Gift Bag" will receive a PETA emergency hammer to save dogs trapped in hot cars; Change-Maker Village (an anti-racist children's book from Once Upon a Blume); LOCI premium vegan sneakers; and EEG-powered sleep tracking with Muse S: The Brain Sensing Headband.

And for when they're ready to kick off their heels and relax in a pair of sweats, there are also beauty and wellness goodies included from brands such as Hotsy Totsy Haus, Miage Transformative Skincare, British M Annatto Hair Oil, Elixinol Good Night CBD capsules, and a Taiyi Institute sound acupuncture device.

You might have noticed a common theme surrounding all the included items. Lash Fary the founder of Distinctive Assets, explained the significance in a statement: "While the end result may look at first glance like the same cornucopia of fabulous gifts we always assemble, this year’s contents are particularly special. The companies we are featuring embrace diversity, inclusion, health, and philanthropy, and are giving back to their communities and the world at large in significant ways.”

The hope is that the celebrities receiving these gift bags will think and reflect on the meaning and message of each brand.

Where can I buy the Oscars gift bag?

Alas, the full Oscars gift bag isn't available to the public for purchase, but that's not stopping you from buying some of the goodies featured inside for yourself. Treat yourself like the star you are with these product selects from this year's Oscars gift bag.
