Our entire wardrobe has been made up of comfy loungewear this year, with stretchy joggers replacing our favourite pair of jeans and cosy sweatshirts and hoodies taking priority over any trendy top or blouse.
Much of that has to do with the fact that we've been spending more time at home than ever, thanks to you know what. Whether we like it or not, staying at home is the new going out once again, and for many of us, that has meant developing a new loungewear obsession.
Since we no longer have a reason to dress up, we're dressing down in style. Chic loungewear did wonders for our sartorial cravings in quarantine and has continued to bring us joy and comfort throughout the year. Not only does it look good on but it's the ultimate work from home outfit, and now that we've approached the colder months, it's perfect for keeping us warm too.
Back in October, we reported that loungewear had grown in demand so much throughout 2020 that we were close to facing a shortage. Luckily, that hasn't seemed to happen just yet with with retailers like H&M and Rixo rolling out dreamy new collections.
So to help you shop, we've picked some of the comfiest loungewear pieces to get your hands on now. Enjoy!
