This photo of Zendaya's new auburn bob stuns and distracts everyone from a very big detail

Is Zendaya trying to tell us something in her latest Instagram story?

It's true: Zendaya can do no wrong in the style department.

On December 16, the Spider-Man actress took to Instagram stories to show off a new look: a chic bob hairstyle in auburn. The nod to her character MJ was quite a hit amongst her fanbase, and we expected nothing less.

"It was time for a change," she wrote.

In the mirror selfie, fans caught a glimpse of the 'do—which is set to be a big hair trend of 2022, by the way—and Zendaya's adorable floral top. Unsurprisingly, her makeup is on point, and the gentle purple and pink hues pair perfectly with her outfit.

However, there is one detail that has seemingly been overlooked...and it's on *that* finger.

Everyone got so distracted by the actress' strands that the giant rock on her left hand—on the most significant finger, no less—was pale in comparison.

Considering Tom Holland and Zendaya have gotten pretty lovey-dovey over the past year, many were curious if this statement piece has some significance. It would be fitting if the fictional love interests-turned IRL couple got engaged as their film premiered, right?

What's more, Holland even spoke candidly about retiring his Spider-Man role for the future generation...and because he has other priorities in mind.

"I've spent the last six years being so focused on my career," he revealed to People (opens in new tab) in December 2021. "I want to take a break and focus on starting a family and figuring out what I want to do outside of this world."

Are Tom Holland and Zendaya engaged?

Could it be?! Are the two making it official?

As it turns out, the bling is a yellow diamond Bulgari ring that the actress, an ambassador for the jewelry brand, gifted herself.

"This is my splurge, my treat-myself," she told British Vogue earlier this year. "It feels like it’s gonna be an heirloom, like one day I can give it to my grandchildren."

For the moment, it looks like Zendaya's only life change is her hair color—which is arguably just as stunning as her jewelry.
