Jett Kain and Lynn Ban are one of the few power couples to join the Bling Empire: New York cast

Worth approximately $5 million each, the duo has been married and working together for nearly 30 years. They quite literally put the "bling" in the reality series, as they're busy perfecting Lynn Ban Jewelry and keeping their celebrity clientele—Rihanna and Beyoncé, to name a few—satisfied.

Needless to say, glitz and glam are in ample supply, but, the Bling Empire: New York cast net worth isn't the only grand thing about Netflix's new reality show—there's plenty of drama, and neither Ban nor Kain is exempt.

Before we get into what transpired in the debut season, here's the backstory on Jett Kain.

Who is Jett Kain from 'Bling Empire: New York'?

Although he may in the jewelry business now, Jett Kain got his start working as a journalist and producer for MTV in the early '90s. That's when he supposedly crossed paths with now-wife Lynn Ban while at a New Year's Eve party. Though they seemed to have caught one another's attention, it wasn't until a second meet-up that their relationship took a turn for the romantic...and the professional.

Kain is often stationed in London working on the PR behind his wife's jewelry brand. He's also in close quarters with their teenage son who attends boarding school across the pond. New York to London and vice versa is certainly quite the commute.

Additionally, the two dipped their feet into Ban's father's business, the Genki Sushi franchise that originated in Asia, attempting to expand the restaurant into the US and grow the business. It's safe to say they've quite literally been all over the map.

Jett Kain net worth: how much is he valued at?

Several sources, including The Cinemaholic, estimates Jett Kain's overall net worth to be $5 million.

What did Jett Kain do on 'Bling Empire: New York'?

Upon watching the first season, Bling Empire fans noticed that Kain seemed to feel quite comfortable around his peer, Blake Abbie, a fashion magazine editor and Canadian transplant. At one point, viewers were questioning Kain's sexuality, as he appeared to be flirting with Abbie, particularly when they started taking photos for Instagram.

Though the allegations about Kain's interest have spread across the internet, Abbie was quick to shut them down and insisted that he is on good terms with both Kain and Ban.

Are Jett Kain and Lynn Ban still together

Though Blake Abbie might be on good terms with the couple, we did leave them in rocky territory. They are seemingly still together but are facing a big hurdle. Towards the end of the season, Kain wants to explore new business ventures, some of which might bring him to L.A. It's unclear how the two will move forward, but perhaps we'll get an update in season 2?

This is definitely not the first time we questioned a couple's status on the show. After watching season one, we also found ourselves asking, "Are Vika and Richard still together?" and "Are Dorothy Wang and Ari Kourkoumelis still together?" These pairs are certainly bringing the drama and keeping us on our toes.

The first season of Bling Empire: New York is now available to stream on Netflix. Here's the scoop on Bling Empire: New York season 2
