Meghan Markle's makeup—who creates her looks?

Now first things first, we must address the beauty elephant in the room when it comes to celebrities...

More often than not, the dazzling red carpet looks that we fawn over are created by pro makeup artists—but when you see your favorite names day to day, you can usually bet that they've done their looks themselves. Unless it's the Kardashians of course, who seem to have full-on glam squads on speed dial.

Who are Meghan Markle's makeup artists?

Meghan has been linked to a number of makeup artists—she previously worked with Lydia Sellers and MUA Mary Greenwell, who helped create her flawless and natural 2017 Vanity Fair cover look.

She also works with makeup pro and close friend Daniel Martin, who famously created Meghan's glowing wedding look. Meghan has also worked with celebrity MUA Kayleen McAdams.

Does Meghan Markle do her own makeup?

While Meghan does have her favorite makeup artists on hand for events and public appearances, she does do her own makeup day-to-day.

Throughout her acting career, she shared her beauty holy grails with a number of publications—with one of her former makeup artists, Lydia Sellers recently telling Hello: "Meghan is the type of girl with many talents. She is someone that is 'in the know' when it comes to products, tips, tricks, and trends. Working with her was always a collaborative effort."

Adding, "Meghan is very self-assured when it comes to what she likes in a beauty routine and our time together very rarely ventured too far from her classic makeup look."

MUA, Daniel Martin also previously told People, "She’s gotten more comfortable doing her own makeup. She loves makeup and she’s good at it!"

Meghan Markle's makeup products—what does she use?

Now onto the fun part! To create her fresh and clean-girl-esque look, Meghan uses a number of cult-favorite products from the likes of Dior, Nars, Charlotte Tilbury and YSL.

Meghan Markle's lipstick

In an interview with People, Daniel Martin revealed that the Duchess of Sussex is a big fan of Charlotte Tilbury's Matte Revolution lipstick, in particular, the shade Very Victoria.

Martin said: "She likes to talk and she’s not a fussy person, so she doesn’t want to have to worry about anything." She's also a lover of the iconic Pillow Talk shade, which she's worn on a number of magazine covers!

Meghan is not a lover of bold lip shades, she likes to keep it simple and natural—which is something CT's lipsticks are renowned for achieving.

The formula of this iconic lippie is long-lasting, super buildable and despite being matte, it's still hydrating!

Her favorite shade is "Very Victoria" (a taupe nude) but as mentioned she's also a fan of the "Pillow Talk" shade, so if you prefer a more pinky nude shade, you might want to give it a try!

Meghan Markle's eye makeup

It turns out Meghan is a fan of this viral drugstore mascara (which costs just £9!) and prefers a bolder eye to a bold lip...

Back in her Suits days, Meghan herself also revealed to Allure that she uses Mac's Teddy eyeliner, which is a Smokey brown liner, with golden hues. Fans will know that Meghan often sports a smudgy/smokey eyeliner look and no wonder it always looks so good, she's using one of the best eyeliners on the market!
