Aleesha Badkar

Aleesha was Deputy Editor and Beauty & Fashion Editor for My Imperfect Life, where she headed up the beauty, fashion and eCommerce pages. Her specialisms are down to her carefully-curated wardrobe, shopaholic tendencies and her constant hunt for any new lipsticks to add to her color-coordinated collection. Previously she was Shopping Writer at woman&home, so has a good eye for what to spend your hard-earned money on. She earned an MA in Magazine Journalism from City, University of London in 2017 and has since worked with a number of brands including, Women's Health, Stylist and Goodto. A year on the company's news team also gained her an AOP awards nomination.

When she’s not playing around with new products and testing anything she can get her hands on, Aleesha spends most of her time with her head in a current bestseller, bingeing the newest Netflix releases, watching everything Marvel, learning about different wines, attempting new languages and traveling as much as she can.
