In a surprise to literally no one on Planet Earth, Tom and Raquel of Vanderpump Rules fame—or infamy—have reportedly broken up.

If you've been on the Internet anytime since March 2023, you undoubtedly have heard about #Scandoval, the shocking reveal that Vanderpump Rules castmates Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss were engaged in an affair for months offscreen.

This news alone would be enough to shake up the SUR crew but add to the fact that the affair occurred while Tom was still with his girlfriend of a decade, Ariana Madix, who was also close friends with Raquel, and you've got a perfect pressure cooker of reality TV drama, so much so that viewers at home questioned, "Is Vanderpump Rules scripted?" and dubbed season 10 the best season of Vanderpump Rules so far.

And now, just ahead of the Vanderpump Rules finale and a week before the show's three-part reunion kicks off, word has hit that Tom and Raquel are no more. Here's what we know.

Everything we know about Tom and Raquel's split:

Two months after their illicit affair went public—during which the couple snuck around wearing matching lightning-bolt necklaces and having sex in Leviss' car while Ariana mourned the death of her beloved dog—Raquel has allegedly broken up with Tom, reports The Messenger and Page Six

“Raquel dipped out. Sandoval is not the one for her,” an insider told the latter outlet.

When the news of the affair broke, Leviss released a statement to Entertainment Tonight: "I am reflecting on my choices, speaking to a counselor and I am learning things about myself such as my patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved. I have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are not healthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritizing the intimate connection over my friendships. I am taking steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices."

As for where is Raquel Leviss now, the reality star had checked herself into a mental health facility to receive treatment in April. She attended the Vanderpump reunion, which will air its first part on Wednesday, May 24.

And as for Tom Sandoval, a source told The Messenger: "His relationships with everyone right now are on the back burner, and he's focusing on his music. He's about to turn 40 and trying his best to move away from all of this, but he's struggling at times. Like anyone trying to better themselves, it's one day at a time."

He also released a statement around the time that the affair was discovered: "I am beyond sad that it ended the way it did. The choices I made hurt so many people. I acted in a way that clashes with who and how I want to be. I will continue to reflect and work on myself. I have work to do. I always have, and I always will."

Ariana Madix, who has since moved on from Sandoval and is currently dating fitness trainer Daniel Wai, will appear on Watch What Happens Live! after the Vanderpump finale on Wednesday, May 17, to discuss the affair. She'll no doubt have a thing or two to say about Tom and Raquel's split.
