Everyone's asking the same thing: "When was Love Is Blind: After the Altar filmed?"

Truthfully, the couples practically feel like family at this point: we're all rooting for Alexa and Brennon, Love Is Blind season 3's success story. And though we're a little perplexed by some of Matt and Colleen's choices, we're keeping our fingers crossed that the duo continues to grow in their relationship.

Needless to say, we were saddened by the Raven and SK drama, and wish well for the rest of the hopeful romantics who left the series without another. But speaking of said romantics, our memories get fuzzy when we reflect on their time in the pods. Heck, when we think back to Damian and Giannina, it seems like a lifetime ago, right?!

Okay, okay, back to the Love Is Blind season 3 couples. With all of the catch-ups that come along with the franchise, it can be difficult to pinpoint when exactly things transpired. (Hey, after all, Bartise will be making an appearance on Perfect Match, Netflix's new series premiering on Valentine's Day.) So, when did After the Altar film and what happened? Allow us to give you the details!

When was 'Love Is Blind: After the Altar' filmed?

Love Is Blind: After the Altar season 3, which just hit Netflix on Friday, February 10, was actually filmed in summer 2022, one year after the couples said: "I do." That means that all the events being discussed from season 3 are roughly about one year old.

It seems hard to believe, but we had our "I do's" (and a few "I don'ts") in the summer of 2021. By fall 2022, we were watching season 3 unfold, and of course, we wrapped things up with an emotional Love Is Blind season 3 reunion on November 9.

After the Altar is meant to be a firsthand look at what's happening, well, after the altar—when the couples have left the pods and their honeymoons to embark on real life together. Cameras start rolling about a year or so into the newlyweds' lives, and that's the recap we receive. But of course, the only way to keep tabs on everyone is to follow along with their adventures on social media, a.k.a. the most up-to-date insights we're set to receive.

On this season of Love Is Blind: After the Altar, we find three couples in bliss: Alexa and Brennon, Colleen and Matt (though they're not yet living together), and SK and Raven. Since we've caught up with everyone, cheating allegations ended SK and Raven's long-distance romance. To our surprise, Nancy and Bartise were on cordial terms, though she ultimately weighs whether or not his friendship is worth saving. And, unsurprisingly, Zanab and Cole were not terribly excited to see one another at Alexa's 28th birthday. They're both on the hunt for love, and perhaps they should keep their ears peeled for any new Netflix dating series in the works.
