There’s nothing more exciting than when your favorite star releases a fragrance. There’s a reason why RiRi’s new Fenty perfume sold out in minutes and why we eagerly counted down the days until Ariana Grande released God is a Woman. It’s like the ultimate seal of approval on a product. If Ari likes it and created it, we have to have it. And the same goes with pop icon Britney Spears—whose perfume sales have skyrocketed.

Britney recently announced the exciting news that she is engaged to long-time partner Sam Asghari and since then, fans have been snapping up her signature fragrances. This also follows the huge legal boost for the star after her father Jamie Spears filed to end his 13-year conservatorship.

According to Fragrance Direct, sales of Britney's Prerogative Eau de Parfum spray have gone up by 200% since her engagement.

Fragrance expert Mia Gardner said: “Since Britney Spears announced her engagement on Instagram, we’ve actually seen increased interest in the Britney fragrances on our site.

“One of our bestselling Britney products since the announcement is the Britney Spears Private Show EDP Spray which has seen a 200% increase in sales since last week, and has since sold out.”

Thankfully for all of us, Prerogative is in stock and is just $13.50!

Britney fans are going wild for this sexy floral fragrance. It has notes of pink pepper, juicy goji berries and apricot nectar for an intimate but bold scent.

The retailer reported a similar rise in Britney perfume sales after the Britney documentary Framing Britney aired. Fans and supporters of the #FreeBritney campaign flocked to show their love and support for her by buying her fragrances.

It’s not hard to see why Brit’s perfumes are so popular. Her Prerogative fragrance features fiery pink pepper, goji berry, apricot nectar, and floral notes. It also has hints of espresso, santal, and amber—just listing these is convincing us that we need this scent.

It’s clear to see that the queen of pop knows a thing or two about fragrance, and who wouldn’t want to smell like an icon? Prerogative has glowing reviews from shoppers.

One said: “It’s very sexy and at the same time daily use! The type of fragrance that you can wear to leave your ‘presence’ on!”

Another wrote: “It's a great everyday fragrance which has a lovely aroma—I'm a very happy customer.”

Britney has quite a list of fragrances to her name, including Curious, Radiance, Believe, and another fan favorite, Fantasy, which you can shop below.
