It's back to basics for Charlotte Tilbury: the cosmetics connoisseur is launching a Super Nudes Collection that pays tribute to her favorite 90s fashionistas and natural beauty in every shade. In case you were wondering, this is an ideal excuse to perfect the 90s supermodel lip trend.
The Super Nudes Collection launches on August 19th and features a variety of products, including lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes, blush and eyeliner. As the name suggests, the hues are naturally tinted so that they're suitable for all skin tones. Expect browns, taupes and rosy pink shades.
Model Jourdan Dunn is the face of the new collection, "empowering everyone, everywhere to feel like the most super version of themselves," the makeup artist says on her site. But the colors and styles that stem from Super Nudes are all about the models that came before Dunn. Tilbury's inspiration for the products harks back to her time working with the likes of Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell as they were rising to fame in the 1990s.
Looking back, Tilbury credits the decade to using neutral shades to optimize personal features rather than hide them. Of course, she also comments on the nude lip, a light brown shade that's accentuated with a dark brown lip liner. The look is iconic—and making a comeback.
