Since the debut of Hulu’s Pam & Tommy, viewers have been totally enthralled with both Lily James’ transformation into Pamela Anderson and the style of the 90s icon herself. 'Pamcore' is actually trending on TikTok, with users trying to recreate some signature Pam Anderson outfits—right down to those trademark skinny brows. But most of all, what fans really want is Pam’s red Baywatch swimsuit.
Even the Gen-Z’s among us will recognize that red swimsuit from episode three of Pam & Tommy. Arguably one of the most famous swimsuits ever it features in every episode of the 90s lifeguard show Baywatch.
The iconic suit was worn by Pam, and the likes of Yasmine Bleeth and Alexandra Paul, as they ran—in slow-mo no less—across the beach.
According to lingerie and swim-line Pour Moi (opens in new tab), fans are all desperate to have it for their summer vacations, with searches soaring by 55% since the show aired. So, we’ve done the hard work for you and found some perfect dupes—complete with 90's high leg cut—for Pam’s swimsuit!
This swimsuit from Pour Moi offers underwire support and has a pretty much identical shape to Pam’s just with a tie-up back detail at the front and minus the high leg cut.
This Nike suit is the perfect alternative, it features that sporty design, with cutouts at the back - but for those who don’t like their swimwear to be too revealing, or risk nip or bum slips—it covers everything while still being really cute. Plus the shade of red is pretty much spot on - it looks like the suit a lifeguard would wear, to be honest.
Everlane’s square neck swimsuit also captures the classic Baywatch look and is consciously made 82% regenerated nylon derived from recycled plastic.
It has a built-in shelf bra, removable pads, wide straps for an easy fit, and a low cut back.
It’s safe to say there will be a lot of Pam doppelgangers on the beaches this summer…
