Well, the buzz around the two A-listers all began on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, when Selena took to her Instagram Story and shared a picture of Bella Hadid, with the hashtag "girlcrush."

She then followed up with two stories on TikTok, the first saw her wearing the Bella Hadid Filter—which gave her those sharp, feline-like brows that are so synonymous with Bells—as she lip-synced to the iconic "My name, my name is Bella Hadid" sound. Accompanying the clip, she also wrote: "I wish I was as pretty as Bella Hadid."

Um, same—though we also have the same thoughts about the My Mind & Me star, especially when we're treated to peeks into Selena's makeup routine.

So, understandably fans were pretty stunned by the random show of love—especially with that whole classic ex-narrative that always seems to follow celebs who happen to date the same person.
