There’s a nod to ‘Emily in Paris’ in ‘And Just Like That’—did you catch it?

Well, well, well: how's that for a familiar face?

We could help but wonder if Emily in Paris and Sex and the City exist in the same universe?

Creator Darren Star has risen to fame for his work on the iconic New York-based series, but it appears he's using notes from his new Netflix hit for the Sex and the City reboot. The Big Apple seems to have gotten a familiar face from the City of Lights.

If you're all caught up with And Just Like That, you'll understand where we're going with this. If not, proceed cautiously: *SPOILERS AHEAD!*

William Abadie on 'And Just Like That'

SATC fans know that Seema—Carrie's new realtor BFF, seemingly not Samantha Jones—is dying to find love and is dreaming about dancing in a club. Then poof! Just like magic, a hunky man named Zed (played by actor William Abadie) appears just before her. It just so happens that he owns the club right in front of where Seema is having a smoke. Talk about good fortune!

Notice who else Abadie plays? Antoine Lambert on Emily in Paris, bébé! Even more coincidentally, he is involved in the fate of Gabriel’s restaurant, so it seems as though EIP's Antoine and AJLT's Zed have similar career paths.

Crossovers appear to be the hot thing as of late—either that or viewers are just getting a bit savvier: the Cal and Derek Euphoria reference has Grey's Anatomy devotees shocked.

Meanwhile, others seem to believe another joint venture is in the works with this incredibly odd You clue in the new season of Emily in Paris. Sure, Emily in Paris and SATC have the same creator and costume designer, but crossing the murderous thriller over with the feel-good Parisian excursion just seems...odd.

What type of TV Easter eggs are we in store for next? Looks like we'll have to keep up with our favorite shows to find out.
