Who is hosting Bachelor in Paradise 2021?

First thing's first—viewers should get themselves comfortable with a few new faces. Host Chris Harrison, a mainstay in the franchise, will not be returning this season following racially inappropriate comments that surfaced earlier in 2021. Variety reports that comedians, including David Spade, will take the wheel for BiP season seven. According to the reports, talent is still being acquired and reps will not comment on who will appear on the show, nor will they discuss Chris' future with the series.

Bachelor in Paradise 2021 cast

Although season six of Bachelor and Paradise is still fairly under wraps, fans who are familiar with the series are predicting that the franchise's following alumni will make an appearance. (Note that these contestants have yet to be confirmed or denied.)

  • Tia Booth
  • Jessenia Cruz
  • Noah Erb
  • Victoria Fuller
  • Clay Harbor
  • Blake Horstmann
  • Pieper James
  • Chasen Nick
  • Chris Randone
  • Spencer Robertson
  • Connor Saeli
  • Ed Waisbrot

In a stroke of luck, fans learned of one fella who is definitely returning. An ABC exec reported that Joe Park, who appeared on Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams' season of The Bachelorette, will be in attendance. (And  yes, he's fully vaccinated—as we predict the entire cast and crew will be.)

When does Bachelor in Paradise 2021 start?

As the summer cools down, Bachelor and Paradise will heat back up. The show—which was on hiatus in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic—will resume on August 16, 2021 on ABC at 8pm/7 Central.

How to watch Bachelor in Paradise 2021

Those in the U.S. are able to catch BiP on ABC (with episodes dropping on Hulu the next day). If you're not in the U.S., and the show is not being broadcast on any channels in the country you're in, you can still watch the show using a VPN.

Our favorite VPN service is ExpressVPN—rated one of the best, by our colleagues at TechRadar.

If you sign up for an annual plan you'll get an extra 3 months absolutely FREE. And it's risk-free—if you change your mind in the first 30 days, let them know and they'll give you your money back.

After setting up your VPN, all you have to do is select any location in the U.S. ad head over to ABC to tune in.

When will we find out more about Bachelor in Paradise 2021?

Before we head to the beach, we have to prepare ourselves for The Bachelorette, which will air June 7 at 8pm/7 Central on ABC. We're gearing up to see how Katie's love life unfolds, and one thing is for certain—it's going to be a roller coaster.

We are anxiously hoping that the premiere of the next Bachelorette season will include a bit of inside into Bachelor in Paradise, perhaps a sneak peek or a teaser of some sort. (One could only hope!)

We're going to have to be patient, it seems. Not only is BiP a few months away, but we're still waiting for Selling Sunset's return and Firefly Lane season two. Well, patience is a virtue, right?

We'll see you in Paradise!
