With every episode, we get to know new characters in The White Lotus-verse, like Eleonora Romandini's Isabella, the hotel concierge and the unrequited crush of resort manager Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore) in The White Lotus season 2

Romandini rounds out the Italian company of the cast of The White Lotus season 2, joining Impacciatore, Beatrice Grannò (who plays Mia), Simona Tabasco (a.k.a. Lucia) and Stefano Gianino (the very nude Niccolò) as a Sicilian local who interweaves with the lives of the hotel's wealthy patrons, played by the likes of Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Jennifer Coolidge and Adam DiMarco

Romandini's Isabella was the catalyst of one of the season's most surprising sex scenes, but who is the actress behind the character? Let's get to know her.

Who is Eleonora Romandini from 'The White Lotus'?

Eleonora Romandini is a Milan-born Italian actress who plays the recurring character of Isabella in The White Lotus' second season. Isabella is a member of the staff of The White Lotus resort in Sicily, a pretty young receptionist who hotel manager Valentina is seen crushing on throughout season two.

In episode six, the closeted Valentina finally musters up the courage to ask Isabella to join her in a birthday celebration after work, to which Isabella agrees, but a heartbroken Valentina calls their dinner date off when she finds out that Isabella is not only dating their coworker Rocco (Federico Ferrante) but the couple is also newly engaged. In her sorrow, Valentina ends up accepting the comforts of sex worker Mia.

"She has a crush on her employee just because the employee made her feel seen, and paid attention to her. When she gets attention from men, she gets very aggressive, but when she gets attention from Isabella, her heart starts to melt," Sabrina Impacciatore told Variety (opens in new tab) about Valentina's feelings for Isabella. "She has a huge conflict inside—she doesn’t know herself, until something happens and she cannot escape anymore."
