Mr. Stephen Hung—if you're wondering who the richest Bling Empire: New York cast member is, he's your man!

The Hong Kong businessman is surrounded by plenty of uber-wealthy folks in the Bling Empire spin-off series—which premiered on Netflix on January 20—from jewelry designer Lynn Ban to returning reality star Dorothy Wang, and even his own glamorous wife, model-turned-lawyer Deborah Hung

But Stephen Hung stands out from the moneyed bunch by having the highest Bling Empire: New York cast net worth by far. So exactly how did the reality newcomer get so successful, and what else should you know about him?

Who is Stephen Hung from 'Bling Empire: New York'?

Stephen Hung, from Bling Empire: New York, is a multi-millionaire businessman who made his career in—as you may have suspected—finance. After graduating from Columbia University and later the University of Southern California with a master's degree in business administration, Hung kicked off his career at Merrill Lynch, before forming his own investment company, SH Capital Group.

Hung is currently the chairman of The Taipan Investment Group and the vice-chairman of Rio Entertainment Group, which operates the Macau-based Rio Hotel & Casino.

Not much is known about his family (outside of Deborah), but it's rumored that his parents were property agents.

What is Stephen Hung's net worth?

Per Celebrity Net Worth, Stephen of Bling Empire: New York has an alleged fortune of around a whopping $400 million. To put that into perspective: The Washington Post  reported that the entrepreneur once dropped $20 million on 30 customized Rolls-Royce Phantoms. Casual.

"Our involvement in 'Bling Empire: New York' is like a show within a show. We wanted to bring some real bling which is not normally shown on television," Hung wrote in an Instagram post. "Look out for Mrs @deborahhung showcasing this amazing Euro 35 million @graff color diamonds Secret Blossom timepiece 💎🤩🥰" They're really living up to that show title!

Stephen Hung age: how old is he?

Stephen Hung was born on August 24, 1959, making him 63 years old and the elder statesman of the Bling Empire: New York crew. For comparison, Hung's wife Deborah is 24 years his junior, at 40 years old.

Stephen Hung wife: when did he marry Deborah?

Together, Stephen and Deborah Hung make something of a power couple on Bling Empire: New York. The businessman reportedly met his future bride, then Deborah Valdez, while she was on vacation in Hong Kong after completing her law studies in Mexico.

"I came from a very conservative family. When I met him I didn't want him to impress me with anything but his mind," Deborah told The Wall Street Journal in 2013. "He has this magnetism. Designers, investors, everyone wants to talk to him."

The pair married in 2012 at the Diamond Ballroom at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. They share two sons, Sean and Ivan.

Stephen Hung Instagram: what's his handle?

A gander at his grid gives you a peek into the Hungs' jet-setting life, which involves frequent front-row stops at international Fashion Weeks and invites to glamorous galas.

He and Deborah appear to be quite the jet-setters, with photos on his Instagram taken in Vienna, Brazil, Paris and Switzerland, to name a few!
