With the most romantic day of the year fast approaching, you might find yourself starting to plan your Valentine’s day outfit. But sometimes we need a little bit of style inspiration, and where better to look than our fave A-listers whose looks fill our Pinterest boards and Instagram likes. 

While traditionally, red is the color synonymous with Valentine’s, there are a lot of other options to create a sexy or statement look—depending on what you’re going for.

You can never go wrong with a little black dress (LBD) it’s a classic staple that firmly belongs in your capsule wardrobe. While some might argue a black dress is a boring choice, things are amped up with the addition (or rather, subtraction?) of dramatic cut-outs.

Animal print also appears to be big this year—it's never not in, in our books TBH—we’ve spotted the likes of Winnie Harlow and Kendall Jenner wearing animal-themed dresses.

It might just be us, but we seem to be seeing long gloves everywhere—and they’re so sexy. 

They add a hint of elegance to everything you do and can be very sensual to remove. If you’re a fan of Bridgerton, adding some long gloves will give you regency vibes, what’s not to love about that? A pair of gloves will instantly spice up and elevate an outfit.

90s slip dresses and satin skirts are really having a moment and we're so here for them. They're simple, elegant and like all good wardrobe staples, they're versatile. 

Like Olivia Rodrigo, you also could pair a slip skirt with a corset for your Valentine's look or go for a classic, midi dress.
