When does Taurus season start? The so-called "beautiful bag of mixed energy" is coming to a close.

On the heels of Aries season, the earth sign decided to help us take it easy and navigate the most important aspects of our lives, which we appreciate.

"What do we want to watch grow slowly with determination and focus," Noush, an astrologer with Girl and Her Moon, asked at the season's start. "It's a time where we can slow down and decide where we want to spend our time, our energy, our money, our focus moving forward to build something of substance."

Here's what happened during Taurus season 2022.

When does Taurus season start is 2022?

Taurus season 2022 ran from Tuesday, April 19 to Friday, May 20. Update those planners accordingly. (Psst: you can find those on our list of the best astrology gifts for the zodiac-obsessed.)

What happened during Taurus season?

Overall, Taurus season 2022 was about reexamining what's important and asking "Why"? Why are we investing time in this relationship? Why do we want to tackle this creative endeavor? It was all about making sense of the various avenues we're pursuing.

"Whatever we're moving forward with in our professional lives is something that we truly connect with, that we feel authentically speaks to who we are," Noush said. "Romantically, it might bring a stir of excitement and a little bit of adventure. At the same time, there's a deeper passion there."

During this event, two planets were moving into Aries—Venus and Jupiter—which mixed up the overall vibe, according to Noush. Plus, we had a little help from Jupiter to give us an added dose of excitement—always welcome.

"While we have our light force and vitality slowing down and [assessing] what we really deem worthy, there's something else here that really sped up and got a little more vibrant, and that's the energy of our creativity, of our romance," she said.

In terms of astrology events in 2022, Taurus season helped us usher in a first of the year: When is the next solar eclipse? Smack dab in the middle of it all.

Plus, Taurus season fell in line with one of the most anticipated transits of the year, the Stellium in Pisces. And, yes, we did see the return of Mercury retrograde 2022 towards the end of the season as well, though we were not overly enthused about that.

Who felt the Taurus season energy the most?

"Because Taurus season brings eclipses, the fixed signs—Leo, Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio—felt this energy the most," Noush said. "They might've felt that powerful release and undercurrent or that beginning or that energy of revelation."

What next?

When is Gemini season? Welcome to 2022's transit in the air sign.

"It’s a nice season to be open-minded and curious about things that might be shifting inside and outside of you," Noush said. "It's really positive time to be open to making adjustments and stepping into something new with curiosity and a playful attitude."

Since the energy feels lighter, Noush insisted that we'll feel good about the next 30 days and all it has in store for us. Plus, it'll help us learn and move forward from particularly noteworthy May astrology events.

"Now that [the lessons] have been brought to our attention, Gemini season is saying, 'Maybe it’s ok that we explore how this vulnerability can be integrated into our lives,' she says. 'Can I learn more about it? Can I learn how to connect so it's not weighing me down?'"
