When is Gemini season 2022? The air sign is winding down its time in the spotlight.

After the May 2022 full moon and Mercury retrograde's second dose of the year, we certainly appreciated the positive, light energy that the twins bestowed upon us. It was an opportune time to be open-minded, curious and receptive to the universe's plans.

But now we have to look ahead. "When is Cancer season," you ask? It's right around the corner, and it'll be a seamless transition from the playful Gemini spirit.

When is Gemini season 2022?

  • May 21 to June 20, 2022

Noush, an astrologer at Girl and Her Moon, said that this particular astrological season asked us to let our intuition guide us, but also to examine the lessons we've learned from May astrology events and June astrology events.

"Gemini season is saying, 'Maybe it’s ok that we explore how this vulnerability can be integrated into our lives,' Noush said. 'Can I learn more about it? Can I learn how to connect so it's not weighing me down?'"

Astrologer Liz Simmons of The Crone believed we were forced to get in tune with our authenticity. She also noted that we were likely faced with making decisions, particularly because the new moon in Gemini on May 30 was "pure" and "simplified the ideas of two roads, two paths, two actions."

Tips for Gemini season—and beyond

We certainly felt a dose of fire energy throughout the season, but we had to do all in our power to not let it get the best of us.

"We have quite a few planets moving into Aries and that can bring up some impatience or combative energy, particularly if you have Aries on any of your angles," Noush said. "It can bring up a strong urge to move things forward before they’re ready. Make sure that you are taking the time to really step outside of that reactive energy."

No matter what time of year we're in, it's always important to take a step back and have a bit of patience. Even though we're going into the slow-mo Cancer season, it's still important not to be hasty and reactive.

What to expect from Cancer season

One of the more feminine 2022 astrology events, Cancer season is all about TLC—relaxing, taking care of yourself, nurturing your loved ones and enjoying a sense of peace. Honestly, it's the perfect mindset to embrace ahead of the summer solstice 2022, and a great gift astrology fans will certainly appreciate.

While you're trying to figure out how to make the most of the season ahead—which runs from June 21 to July 20—do be sure to treat yourself to your favorite wellness practice, indulge in a nice meal and soak up the vitamin d (but use your SPF, of course).

Although we're sad to see the curious Gemini season go, we have plenty of lessons to take with us as we prepare for a slow, feminine Cancer energy to take over. If you need us, you can find us reading on the beach and with an "out of office" email response.
