As Casa Amor returns for Love Island 2022, it’s time to get acquainted with our new bombshells, starting with Summer Botwe—who, like Gemma Owen and new boy Jack Keating, has her own celebrity link.

Summer has really come to play as it looks like she’s already making waves in the main villa if the Love Island First Look is anything to go by (if you still need to catch up, don't worry—here's how to watch Love Island UK from anywhere in the world.)

We’re predicting some very memorable Love Island moments from her, but before we get ahead of ourselves—let's take a look at her life IRL, from her job to her famous father.

Who is Summer Botwe’s dad?

Alongside islanders like Gemma Owen, whose dad is former England footballer Michael Owen and Jack Keating, who is of course Ronan Keating from Boyzone’s son, Summer also has a celeb dad.

She revealed to ITV that her dad is award-winning garage MC and DJ CKP, who also appeared in Eastenders. She also let slip that she also featured in an episode of the iconic British soap alongside her dad.

Detailing the scene she explained: "I was in a scene with my dad and Stacey, played by Lacey Turner."

Summer has now entered the main villa alongside, Jazmine Nichol,  Coco Lodge, Chyna Mills, Mollie Salmon and Cheyanne Kerr—and looks like she’s on her way to stealing Indiyah’s man as Dami’s head has done a 180…

How old is Summer?

Summer is 22-years-old.

What is Summer Botwe’s job?

The new Casa star has already set her sights on Dami and says that she’s putting her ‘best foot forward’ and won’t waste any time when it comes to grafting (one of the many Love Island phrases you need to know.) This gal gets what she wants, which is very evident in her choice of career path.

The 22-year-old has her own events decor business, based in Hertfordshire, that covers all your decoration needs, from baby showers to birthdays. She herself also has an impressive 50 thousand Instagram followers and from her Instagram posts, it looks like she's already worked with brands like Pretty Little Thing and Bohoo, as well as being one of Rihanna's Savage Fenty ambassadors. Sounds like she has definite influencer potential post-Love Island...

Before working for Future Publishing’s Lifestyle News team, she worked in the Ad production team. Here she wrote and designed adverts on all sorts of things, which then went into print magazines across all genres. Now, when she isn’t writing articles on celebs, fashion trends, or the newest shows on Netflix, you can find her drinking copious cups of coffee, drawing and probably online shopping.
