With Christmas just around the corner, you may have begun your hunt for Christmas makeup ideas, creating Pinterest boards of all the looks you could recreate for parties or just sitting in your room, and of course the big day itself. Well, you can officially end your search because Hailey Bieber has just debuted the ultimate festive eye. So pull out one of the best eyeliners or best eyeshadow palettes and get ready to recreate this look.

Yet again Hailey has made a serious case for colored eyeliner, and if it gets Hailey’s seal of approval, who are we to question it! After all, she is the mastermind behind the expensive brunette trend!

Getting us all into the merry mood, one of Hailey B’s favorite makeup artist’s Nikki Wolfe has created the most incredible, yet simple, Christmas eye look.

Feast your eyes...

To create this masterpiece Nikki used a warm neutral shade and an opalescent, glossy shimmer on the lid and overtop—a forest green liner, that has been carefully softened and smudged out at the edges. It is, in a word, dreamy.

For the rest of the look, Hailey's eyebrows, as per, are perfectly feathered and the rest of her makeup is glowy and minimal. This makes the Christmas tree green really pop.

It goes to show that Christmas makeup doesn’t need to be chunky glitter or a bright red lip, it can be edgy, with just the right amount of soft glam.

What we love most about this look is that it looks quite straightforward to recreate, all you need is a brown, bronzy eyeshadow and a sheer, shimmer shade, liquid or pressed—whichever your preference.

Nikki told Vogue: “To keep it flattering, add a warm eyeshadow tone—something peachy or pinky—into the eye socket. It keeps the look flattering by tying it all together.”

Then you just need to apply the shimmer to create a wash of shine, and then a colored liner to create the wing. (Don’t worry we know all the best eyeliners for beginners.)

Nikki shared that she used a pencil liner, to create that diffused, smokey effect. If you don’t have one to hand, an eyeshadow and angled brush will also do the job!

We can already hear the Christmas day compliments!
