Love Island fans bemused by Islander's slip-up reading text

We only met the stunning Love Island 2022 line-up a matter of days ago, but the beginnings of a love triangle are already forming. However, Luca Bish and Andrew Le Page fighting over Natasha Ghouri was not all that got viewers talking during the latest episode of the show. Indeed, one male contestant made an early entry into season eight's unofficial best Love Island quotes competition. Towards the end of the episode, Liam Llewellyn discovered he had been picked to go on a date with two new Bombshells who were poised to enter the villa—Afia Tonkmor and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

However, the 22-year-old graduate from south Wales made a saucy slip-up when he was informed that he was the lucky man. He was enjoying an evening in the villa with the fellow Love Island cast, when he received a text that he went on to read aloud. The message used a hashtag that referenced Ekin-Su being from Essex: "#essexeducation". Viewers were bemused when he proceeded to pronounce it "es-sex-education".

There was a big reaction from fans online over Liam's sweet, but unfortunate stumbling of his words. On Twitter, one person wrote: "Liam saying 'hashtag es sex education' has made my night. He's too precious and needs to be protected." Another shared that "he is a true definition of bless your cotton socks". And a third pointed out that in his introductory video, he admitted that he thought "Elton John was two men called Elt and John".
