The Love Island 2022 series is fast warming up to be one of the hottest yet. This evening's episode was jam-packed with action—with the lion's share taking place, not at Casa Amor, but among the original male contestants over at the villa. In fact, despite many of them being in solid couples, viewers were shocked as five out of the six men kissed other girls.

Among the original Love Island line-up of guys, just Luca Bish—who is coupled up with Gemma Owen—didn't stray. First there was Dami Hope, currently with Indiya Polack, who had no qualms about his budding romance with Summer Botwe—with the pair seen kissing on the terrace during tonight's installment. Later, in the same cozy spot, Andrew Le Page—who is with Tash Ghouri—locked lips with Coco Lodge, who had also just smooched Davide Sanclimenti

Meanwhile, the Italian hunk—who is coupled up with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu—kissed Mollie Salmon as they snuggled up to one another in bed that night. Then there's Jacques O'Neill, who seemed to have forgotten about Paige Thorne as he made moves with Cheyanne Kerr after some pillow talk. Finally, Jay Younger, who was in a friendship couple with Danica Taylor, was seen locking lips with Chyna Mills. Keeping up? (we do hope you know how to watch Love Island)

Those watching at home couldn't believe their eyes at the abundance of—as voiceover Iain Stirling described it—"tonsil tennis". Posting on Twitter, one fan wrote: "The amount of action tonight." Another commented: "My jaw is hooked." A third shared: "This is the wildest Casa Amor ever." And a fourth added: "Casa Amor test faileddd! I’m all for Luca and Gemma at this point."

Some viewers even cast their minds back to the source of the biggest drama for the cast of Love Island 2021. A series of postcards featuring images of the male Islanders appearing to be up to no good were delivered to the villa from Casa Amor, sparking much upset. Of this year's version, one social media user pointed out: "This postcard is about to be a work of ART." Another noted: "This postcard is gonna be something."

Meanwhile, over in Casa Amor tonight there was far less action taking place. Danica—who currently unattached—was the only girl to enjoy a kiss with new boy Josh Samuel Le Grove. One person posted: "The girls need to start misbehaving." Gemma, Paige Indiyah, Ekin-Su and Tash all stayed loyal. For now, that is—in a teaser clip the latter could be seen about to lock lips with another newcomer, Billy Brown. It seems there's plenty more drama to come...
