Love Island’s Luca Bish hints that producers encouraged his bad behaviour during Casa Amor
Luca has claimed that the ‘mad moves’ were very much encouraged by the show producers…

Despite Love Island 2022 being over— with Davide and Ekin-Su reigning victorious—the drama just keeps on coming. Luca Bish has now hinted that there was more than meets the eye to the Casa Amor antics.
For anyone who didn’t have their eyes glued to the screen every night of season eight’s Casa— the boys gave a new meaning to ‘moving mad’ (a classic Love Island quote, you may be familiar with by now). The wild behavior led to the most dramatic Casa recoupling in the dating show’s history and now Luca has now claimed that that is exactly what producers were going for…
While we know that Love Island isn’t scripted, we do know that the dating show’s creators play a hand in some of the situations and make it as jaw-dropping as possible. And speaking on Jamie Lang’s ‘Private Part’s' podcast, Luca hinted that this was also the case when the infamous second villa rolled around.

Luca said: “Not alot of people know, we were standing there as boys—we got called to the outside of the villa—and before we went in, it was like ‘You lot are smashing it this year. The show is doing unbelievable! This is Casa Amor, don’t f*** it up.’”
Jamie and his co-host Alex Mytton then questioned him on what that meant, to which we replied, “I think every boy knew what that meant, hence why you had chaos for the first two days.”
He then went on to detail a time that he went to the beach hut and was questioned about who he liked the most before he was asked why the boys weren’t doing anything and not to 'bottle it now'—which in turn apparently got Luca to encourage the boys to make their moves...
Moving onto that recoupling, Luca revealed that he actually thought Andrew was going to stick with Tasha, but said, “An exec or something said—I think a few of the boys got it—‘If you are there and your girl comes back with a boy, you don’t know whether you’re going home or not.’” Perhaps that’s why so many of those chose to recouple?
Despite the antics, however, a number of the final couples reconciled after Casa—with the likes of Andrew and Tasha and Dami and Indiyah, still going strong post-Love Island.
