She's basically the Queen of Halloween (in the UK anyway) thanks to her now iconic and very exclusive parties. And while sadly, we're never likely to get an invite—we can still reminisce over Maya's costumes and which celebs made the guest list to her last three, magical events...
Here's all the intel on Maya Jama's Halloween parties, including the latest get to together, which saw a number of former islanders dressed to the nines.
Maya Jama's Halloween party 2022
As Maya Jama has just recently been confirmed as the new host of Love Island after Laura Whitmore quit, it’s only natural that she’d be rubbing shoulders with a few former islanders, but her 2022 Halloween party saw nearly half of season eight's lineup in attendance—dressed up to the nines, of course!
The party, which was thrown by Maya and Bacardi and is actually an annual shindig, saw the likes of Paige Thorne and Antigoni Buxton all in attendance as well as one of season eight’s last remaining Love Island couples, Dami and Indiyah—who by the way can really rock a couples costume!
Maya Jama
Of course, we couldn’t recap the night's attendees and their costumes without first admiring the host herself. Maya Jama really understood the Halloween assignment and won the costume contest in our eyes.
She attended her party as ‘Bad Grandma’—who we’re assuming was inspired by Jackass’ Bad Grandad and looked almost unrecognizable, which if you ask us is the point of Halloween after all! Full marks for Maya!
Danica Taylor, Antigoni Buxton and Paige Thorne
This trio seems to be rocking up to a number of events as a threesome which we love—especially after Danica’s split from Jamie and Paige’s from Adam. They also attended the NTA’s together.
From what we can tell, Danica wants as either a golden fairy or an angel, while Antigoni went as a Devil and Paige as a soldier—wearing camo and fishnets.
Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack
These two, who are clearly still going strong post-villa, went as Chucky and Chucky’s Bride and in a word, we’re obsessed!
Indiyah proves that you can go down the scary route for Halloween and still look effortlessly stunning. We’d also like to give her blonde bob a special mention because we love it.
Ikenna Ekwonna
Ikenna was in attendance and dress up as a MIB agent covered in blood, likely from a particularly dicey run-in with some extraterrestrials!
A very cool but simple costume—ideal if you need a quick and easy Halloween costume idea of your own!
Amber Gill
Amber Gill from Love Island season five (which is the same series Molly-Mae Hague starred in) also made an appearance at the party.
She paired a bubblegum pink wig with a black, latex co-ord and while we're not entirely sure who (if anyone) she's supposed to be, we're a fan of the pink hair!
Priscilla Anyabu
Season six's Casa Amor bombshell, Priscilla Anyabu also went dressed up as a marijuana-theme girl scout, with the beret and all!
Maya Jama's Halloween Party 2021
Maya's 2021 bash also featured a number of A-listers, including Rizzle Kicks' Jordan Stephens and Little Mix's Jade Thirwell!
While we already knew Maya's red carpet looks always steal the show, her Halloween costumes are a very similar story.
Maya dressed up a Medusa, with a gold snake headdress and gold scales on her face. She also wore a pair of haunting, neon green contact lenses to complete the snake-like look.

Jade Thirlwall and Jordan Stephens
Celeb couple, Jade Thirlwall and Jordan Stephens rocked up dressed as Marge Simpson and Side Show Bob.
Jade rocked the classic blue wig and wore a bodycon dress, with Homer Simpson bedazzled on the front. While Jordan wore an orange jumpsuit and dyed his hair red, with "Die Bart Die" on his chest—a quote from the TV show.
Megan Barton-Hanson
Paying homage to the rom-com Pretty Woman, former Love Islander dressed up as Julia Roberts in her iconic blue and white cut out dress, equipped with fishnets and black knee-high boots.
Alex Scott
Football pundit, Alex Scott was also in attendance, dressed as a Ghostbuster, with killer, patent red thigh-high boots.
