We've got a text! And it's all about the new 'Love Island' UK host...

TV presenter and radio host Maya Jama has been confirmed as the new 'Love Island' UK host for the upcoming series—and we can't wait.

After weeks of rumors, the news was revealed on Instagram, as the official Love Island UK account—in collaboration with Maya Jama—posted a video of Maya Jama herself sitting on a sofa and scrolling through news stories about the rumors that she would taking up the helm.

The caption read: "Okay, the rumours are true 😉 Say hey to your brand-new #LoveIsland host @mayajama! 💘"

Fans and celebs alike flooded the post with excited comments, with Maya predecessor, Laura Whitmore —who took over the Love Island host from the late Caroline Flack—leading the congratulations.

"Yes girl!! So delighted for you!" she wrote, adding: "You’re gonna be fab❤️xx".

Maya also commented herself, writing: "SO BLOODY EXCITED 😜GET ME ON THAT ISLAND🏝 ❤️".

The post also saw comments from a stream of previous islanders, including contestants from the most recent series like Tasha Ghouri and Summer Botwe, as well contestants previous Love Island seasons like Joanna Chimonides and Lucy Donlan.

The new change comes after Laura Whitmore announced that she was stepping back from the show, with many fans wondering about why Laura Whitmore left Love Island.

Whitmore's final season was a dramatic one, to say the least—with all of the drama between Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who ended up being crowned winners at the Love Island live final. And it wasn't just Davide and Ekin-Su who lived the drama. We saw lots going on between the other couples and friendship groups, however, the season ended with a few steady couples—though not all of the Love Island couples are still together...

So we can't wait to see what happens next! It's believed that Jama will step in for the return of Winter Love Island in South Africa and likely summer Love Island in Majorca.

Winter can't come quick enough!
