We're all about a Hollywood romance, from Tom Holland and Zendaya to Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz. And now it looks like we might have another fresh coupling to keep our eyes on: Zac Efron and Amanza Smith from Selling Sunset

The Great Showman heartthrob and the Netflix reality star sent chins wagging when they were spotted together on Saturday, December 11 at a UFC 269 fight in Las Vegas. The pair could be seen cozying up to each other in an Instagram post from Tarek El Moussa, which also featured UFC announcer Bruce Buffer and fellow Selling Sunset stars Heather Rae Young and Mary Fitzgerald.

But are the 34-year-old High School Musical alum and the 45-year-old real estate agent actually dating? Here's what we know so far.

Are Zac Efron and Amanza Smith dating?

While the would make a very photogenic twosome, it doesn't look like they're currently dating. According to sources at TMZ, Efron and Smith are not a couple despite that cozy snap. Efron is friendly with UFC announcer Bruce Buffer, as is Tarek El Moussa, so it was more of a group hang than a romantic outing.

And while Efron is presently single (he reportedly split from his former girlfriend, model Vanessa Valladares, after 10 months back in April of this year, says US Weekly), Smith is not.

In fact, it was her boss, Jason Oppenheim, who first dropped word of the new relationship, telling Express in November 2020: "Amanza is traveling right now, she has a new boyfriend she's seeing in Europe. I do [know who it is] but I'm not going to say. I'll let them handle that." TMZ doubled down on that European beau rumor, saying that she is seeing "a pro soccer player from overseas."

Amanza Smith was previously married to former NFL player Ralph Brown but separated after two years in 2012 and share custody of their children, daughter Noah and son Braker. Brown went mysteriously missing in September 2019 after messaging Smith: "My situation isn’t good right now. I can’t financially take care of the children. It’s not safe for them to be with me. You need to keep them until my situation changes."

While his location is still unknown, Smith's lawyer discovered court findings in which Brown renounced his custodial rights of their children. Smith was granted full custody in October 2021.
