Sleepless nights are on the way: Perrie Edwards' boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain took to social media to share the news that he and the English pop star have a little one on the way.

"Anyone got any advice on how to change nappies?" the Liverpool FC and England International midfielder wrote on Instagram. "So grateful and excited to become a dad. Bring on the sleepless nights."

To get the word out, both he and Edwards posted the same black and white images cradling her growing baby bump. Edwards captioned the images with: "So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate. Me + Him = You. We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!"

The news of their first child comes on the heels of bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock's  pregnancy announcement. She and her fiancé Andre Gray will also be expecting their first child, so there's plenty of big news for the Little Mix crew.

Perrie Edwards: Zayn's ex-fiancée

Although Perrie Edwards and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been going strong for quite some time, fans are always quick to note Edwards' previous relationship with Zayn Malik of One Direction.

According to the Mirror, Malik allegedly ended his four-year relationship—and an engagement—with Edwards over the phone in 2015. After news of their rough split, Malik was linked to Gigi Hadid, with whom he shot his sensual video for "Pillowtalk."

Fans suspect that Edwards retaliated with the Little Mix song, "Shoutout to My Ex," which included lyrics like: "Took four long years to call it quits / Forget that boy, I'm over it." Edwards claims the song is meant to be an empowering mantra for women who've been through a breakup, not an attack on Malik.

Zayn Malik has since welcomed a little girl named Khai with Gigi Hadid in 2020.
