Say hello to Bridgerton, BAFTA nominee! A key scene from the hit Netflix series has been nominated for a British Academy Film Award this year.

Penelope Featherington’s iconic reveal as the show's resident gossip girl Lady Whistledown was nominated as one of Virgin Media's Must-See Moment at this year's BAFTAs. The unveiling of the true identity of Lady Whistledown is one of the show's most gasp-worthy scenes (and that's saying something!), not to mention one of this year's best TV moments.

At the BAFTAs ceremony, the Must-See Moment category is voted on entirely by the TV-watching public, so dear readers, it's time to get clicking! Last year's victor in the category was a Gavin & Stacey scene featuring Nessa's proposal to Smithy during the show's 2019 Christmas special.

*Spoilers ahead!*

Bridgerton's Lady Whistledown reveal—an episode eight stunner that showed the pseudonym-using writer penning one of her society-shaking letters and then dropping her hood to reveal it was Penelope Featherington the whole season long—has some tough competition in the Must-See Moment category.

Joining the nod for Bridgerton, BAFTA nominees include Luke Skywalker's appearance on Disney Plus' The Mandalorian; Nigella Lawson's meme-inducing pronunciation of "microwave" on BBC Two's Nigella: Cook, Eat, Repeat; and the Black Lives Matter-inspired dance routine by Diversity on Britain's Got Talent on ITV. See the full crop of moments nominated below:

Fans that vote on the BAFTAs website will be entered into a lottery for a chance to win a VIP kit, which will include a TV-dinner meal kit for two, a bottle of Taittinger Champagne, a DIY cocktail set, and a £13.99 voucher to use at the Virgin Media Store.

The Bridgerton cast is on a roll when it comes to award shows. The series is also nominated for Best Show at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, while breakout star Regé-Jean Page is also recognized for Breakthrough Performance. The honor follows his recent win as Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series at the NAACP Image Awards, as well as a SAG nomination

Daphne Bridgerton and the Duke of Hastings, who created quite a buzz with their on-screen romance, are also nominated for Best Kiss at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, which will air on May 16th. We can’t wait to see who wins!
