Since Bridgerton aired, RJP is a name we've all become very familiar with, and following the announcement, fans have taken to Twitter to share their excitement. One commenter wrote: "Wow proof of how huge BRIDGERTON is? Regé-Jean Page is hosting SNL next week."
Another gushed online saying: "Oh my my…Regé-Jean Page is hosting #SNL next week…..😍❤️👌."
A third added: "I live for anything and everything #Bridgerton, and hell; yes, I'm going to be tuning in to next week's #SNL for @regejean" - We can't help but agree!
RJP is riding high after his role in the Netflix Regency-era drama but is yet to speak out about the milestone moment. However, he did retweet the exciting news and shared a quirky post on Twitter.

Page is the first Bridgerton cast member to appear on the show. Still, he does have a legacy that precedes him as his character has been brought up on the sketch comedy series several times since Bridgerton premiered in December.
He's been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award and NAACP Image Award for his compelling role as The Duke of Hastings.
Bridgerton, which also features Phoebe Dynevor as Daphne Bridgerton, has now been named Netflix's most popular original series, reaching more than 80 million households worldwide. It was confirmed in January that the show would it has been renewed, so we're officially counting down the days until a second season of Bridgerton.
We can't wait to see his SNL skit!
