The Crown cast looked like absolute royalty at the Golden Globes 2021

Golden Globe winners Emma Corrin and Josh O'Connor pulled out all the style stops tonight

First, Emma Corrin scored a happy surprise win at the Golden Globes 2021 tonight for her meme-inducing turn as Princess Diana in season four of The Crown on Netflix, beating out her costar Olivia Colman as well as other Best Actress nominees Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Laura Linney (Ozark), and Sarah Paulson (Ratched).

Then her Prince Charles, played by Josh O'Connor, snagged his own Golden Globe in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama category, winning against tough competition like Jason Bateman, Bob Odenkirk, Matthew Rhys, and Al Pacino.

But theirs weren't the only wins for the Crown cast—in our humble opinion, the talented Brits also snagged top honors for the award show's best-dressed TV cast.

Corrin gave a sweet shout-out to the late, great Princess Di during her acceptance speech, and the actress's bold fashion choice for the night could also be a reference to the royal fashion risk-taker. (Fun fact: did you know that Diana was the first woman in the royal family to wear trousers to a formal event?!)

The British star sported a custom black-and-white Miu Miu dress for the occasion, complete with oversized puffy sleeves and an exaggerated ruffled collar. Reportedly inspired by Parisian Pierrot clowns, the high-fashion look was finished off with Twiggy-style heavy lashes and a single tear eyelinered under her right eye.

Corrin's on-screen husband also didn't disappoint in the fashion department—Josh O'Connor wore black-and-white, too, this time a black Loewe blazer with funky, contrasting white lapels over a cream-colored pussy-bow blouse with matching trousers.

Fittingly, both Corrin and O'Connor's complementary looks were styled by Harry Lambert, a favorite of androgynous fashion icon Harry Styles.

Another one of the show's leading ladies, Gillian Anderson—who won her own Golden Globe tonight for her performance as British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on this past season of The Crown—also looked positively regal at tonight's festivities.

The X-Files icon wore a Christian Dior Couture Spring 2021 halter-neck gown with an edgy skull emblem featured on the bodice. Sorry, Iron Lady, but we don't know if you've ever looked this cool!
