Bridgerton memes are the gifts that keep on giving. Seriously—we're still not over the Duke and his spoon.

Thankfully, more royally hilarious moments abound now that Bridgerton season 2 has just landed on Netflix. (Yes, plenty have to do with that lake scene.)

Let's take a look at some of our favorite moments that are as irresistible as the Duke of Hastings. Well, almost.

The show's debut season takes after The Duke and I, the novel that focuses on Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the high-society family the Bridgertons. (Psst:  here's how to read the Bridgerton books in order.)

Young and naive, Daphne steps into the marriage market and finds love with the Duke of Hastings (played by the dreamy Regé-Jean Page), but it doesn't come without complications and toxicity along the way, of course.

Fans were instantly hooked on the Gossip Girl-esque 1815-set drama, thanks not only to the handsome Duke but also to the juicy plot points, fabulous costumes and the incredible Bridgerton cast. Naturally, the memes are just as lavish as Mayfair, London, in 1813.

From sexual innuendoes and the hilarious modern-day takes on the Duke and Daphne's relationship to jokes about Lady Whistledown and endless comparisons to Gossip Girl, here are some of the funniest Bridgerton memes online.

The best season 1 'Bridgerton' memes

1. Anything to do with Simon and the spoon

If you ask us, the spoon should have its own mention as a supporting actor in the credits because that scene is engraved in our brains, after all, it even has its own Instagram page—created by fashion writer Billie Bhatia, the brains behind the infamous Connell's Chain Instagram account, FYI.

Yes, we know—the whole Lady Whistledown drama reminds us of a certain Dan Humphrey.

While we're thankful for the Duke and his spoon, the true gift in Bridgerton was Eloise and her feminist remarks. What a legend.

The best 'Bridgerton' season 2 memes

In the much-anticipated sophomore installment, we turn our attention towards Kate (Simone Ashley) and Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), who just so happen to be caught in a love triangle with Kate's little sis, Edwina (Charithra Chandran).

Sure, the Bridgerton sex scenes might've cooled down a bit, but there's still plenty for the internet to work with...and then some. Have a look at the LOL moments from season 2 that are the talk of the Twittersphere and beyond.

1. The Anthony-Kate romance

We know that Edwina is supposed to be Viscount Anthony Bridgerton's match, but it seems Kate cannot help but get caught up with the Bridgerton brother.
